2 million buy after UT trade
Nonsense. I have seen this happen just as frequently in FTSE 100 companies. It is classic buy on the rumour sell on the news with shorter-term traders banking profits and long term holders tempted out in the hope of buying back in cheaper. Nice if you can afford to trade the volumes required to turn a decent profit or have the guts to risk coming out and timing the market right.
Have you noticed large trade went through at 25 when the share price was way down on that
Thats AIM for ya, share dips on better than expected trading update...
I do wonder if there was any truth in a possible takeover that they would of had inside info up until today, now the trading figures have been stated if its true maybe they are clear to make an offer?
I had the same feeling at 6 thinking it was too late to enter in 2016
Having thought I had missed the boat buying in at 15 this is now in my "forever" fund. This company will either continue to grow or be taken out by a bigger player. Either way I see little downside in the long term, but would expect a degree of volatility as per usual. Based on these numbers I would also expect a modest uplift in the dividend.
Now if the same pattern occurs as last year this will dip a bit over the next week or so from an all time high and then go higher into results in March, im sitting tight for higher
The numbers were in line with what I expected but I was obviously ahead of the market. GLA
To get out at 2645 - thanks fevertree you are amazing x
WOW tenfold in three years.
Good point Bandit. Results are very good and further growth around the world should mean good annual growth in the future. I think SP should rise on news, but this is a good share to hold for the long term IMO.
Many on here will have awaited market opening on other retail shares this month with great optimism as I have when excellent guidance is delivered on to be disappointed. Don't be spooked if the reaction is not what you expect as we all recognise the ' buy the steak, sell the sizzle' market response. With potential corporate activity in the background this may have a impact on retaining the interest of traders for the time being but extremely difficult to call market reaction these days with heady valuations pricing for perfection.
Yes very good results......but are they good enough to maintain the SP momentum that we have seen recently? All of the future growth is pointing to the US for next year and beyond. I would be very disappointed if the SP didn't continue its upward movement today. ATB
Thank you Fevertree. Another cracking up-date with impressive figures. Just gets better and better. Congratulations.
Wish I had bet the house now, excellent results update :)
Here's hoping, but don't bet your house on it...
Going to sleep well tonight :-)
They will blow the roof off.
Anything can happen from past experience with other shares
I'm beginning to think that any update tomorrow won't deliver further rises given the boost we have seen in the past week. Naturally I hope I am wrong, but "Buy the rumour, sell the news" comes to mind??
For the better I hope
Get the impression that 2400 is now support and 2500 is resistance. That may change tomorrow.
If this follows the same pattern as last few years it will rise well tomorrow then drop over the following week then gradually put on a good rise until final results in March . But im sitting tight on my shares.
