@Xhita
Can I ask which destination/island you are based in? There seems to be a huge price gap between Tui AI and jet2/ezj and am trying to figure this out. Thanks.
It's important to understand the dynamic. Last year 4% of easyjet seats were easyJet holidays seats. Jet2 it's 70%. easyJet holidays has huge growth potential
I think that ryanair could be run much better by someone else. O'Leary is a liability and they have done well despite that. People have tolerated him and travel on air-pikey only when they absolutely have no choice which is often.
I think that choice is coming. The DIY holiday markets days are numbered. The flexible package holiday revolution is gaining volume. It's cheaper and more flexible than DIY including transfers and luggage. easyJet first an airline with a dense schedule are uniquely placed to deliver.
Hoteliers love it as arrivals are staggered With multiple flights every day they use it to backfill gaps.
I really like the business model. It's not the only holiday company that I deal with but I have many more easyjet guests than Jet2.
Brought 300 shares in Ezj @ 4.73 not selling till i see some fatprofits 🤣🤣 teach me to trade when on the Vodka

Keep emotions out of investing.
O'Leary is not my cup of tea, he's abrassive and often crass,
but he knows how to run an airline.
Doubled down today, easyJet is a very busy business, with its summer months ahead.
What’s not to like here
Did not even bother filtering Nutmeg….but this new fat guy seems to be part of the Oh Really? PR machinery.
I hold Ryanair, as I've mentioned many times
over years.
EZJ is a small hedge in case there are further problems with the 737 Max.
Ryanairs made a poor choice by selecting Boeing and that's not all they chose Prat & Whitney engins which have design faults.
Fatprofits why don't you sell these and buy Ryan?
Ryanair are adding 8 seats per aircraft.
easyJet are adding 66 on 319 to 321 swaps.
This is a game changer to the profit margin
By 2033 new aircraft will be old, like easyJet they have projections however easyJet will receive their aircraft and ryanair won't. easyJet have purpose in replacing theirs but have stated that if any deliveries are rescheduled they can continue to operate their existing fleet.
The fact remains that ryanair are adding aircraft to add seats and easyjet are not. They are increasing capacity by adding larger more efficient aircraft.

So happy ‘we’ did not lose you last week, tough 4 sessions…
On the pre COVID prak price.
You have to marvel at how much value has been destroyed.
That appears incorrect - yes they will sell some older aircraft, however thave given a year by year estimate of how many aircraft they expect to operate - right out to 2033.
There's a very significant net increase - yes this will be
subject to some change.
Finding myself agreeing with many of the comments here good and bad. thanks all,
All I can tell you is that the day before the Ukraine invasion this share was over £7. Since then there has been no RI's just a steady profit. Soon the company will have made back all the covid losses.
I think a return of cash to long standing investors as well as the 20% div is what will have it turn the corner fast and big.
Battening down for more rollercoaster - getting used to this, been all the way to £3 and all the way up to £18. I'll give it 2 more years as I have to work for a living anyway ;-)

Every little helps
Vodka time
You have to remember that ryanair are swapping out their fleet. Like easyJet they will end up with a few more aircraft but most will just be replacing the 737-800 many of which are 10+ years old.
easyJet are doing something much smarter. They are replacing small 319 with larger but more efficient aircraft. More seats less costs. It means that they increase capacity massively whilst adding aircraft modestly.
O'Leary is not an astute business man. If he was people wouldn't hate him and his company.
Don’t forget the wee donkey.
I bought 3 times now and it looks as if I'm not alone. Maybe we'll get a bounce.
I have started to buy at 463.5 or so. Fingers crossed we're not far off the bottom for now.
Dodger .. because history is never guaranteed to repeat again and again but it often rhymes that's why. with take overs and the UK stock market soo undervalued anyway it would be nuts to not have some skin in the game.
Is it not simply BoA selling down it's stock holding? Someone said that it held 13% and had dropped 10% a day or two ago. It was also suggested that they were buying options. The options, as I understand it would not affect the underlying SP, but clearly selling down large volumes of stock is likely to bring the price down. Once the selling is over, maybe the drop will end. Volume was very high on the 16th, but has dropped back to near normal levels since. I'd imagine that suggests that the bulk of the selling has been completed.
"Someone is likely to suffer and given O'Leary commercial astuteness, that is unlikely to be Ryanair!."
more likely to be WizzAir than EZJ , although EZJ will have to continue to work hard to keep costs down
