Cash is going to be the next challenge at this rate.
We know from the interims that they had sufficient cash to see them through to around September (assuming the scoping study did not incur significant additional expenditure).
They cannot however drift along until they run out so will need to put in place contingency measures pretty soon. The question is do they realistically have any options in this regard (without the permit); unlikely one would presume
They also have the small matter of needing to publish the Annual Report by the end of April. As it stands I cannot see the auditors signing this off as a going concern as they simply don't have a further 12m cash in the absence of the ESIA.
One way or another this all therefore needs to come to a head pretty soon. Its pretty clear the company have been tip toeing around the authorities through fear of upsetting the applecart. Understandable post earthquake but its fairly clear now that "National" operations are back to BAU hence at what point do EML need to get on the front foot.
Sense April could be a defining month here with the AR due to be published and Q1 trading update. If still in a holding pattern at this point then fearing the worst to be honest.
Goldbar,
Yes it is taking forever, that said this new process using 60% less water and no DWI has only been known for the last month & there isn't a DFS for this method (something we may have to do before receiving the ESIA which would also be a good time to reassess the resource which should be higher with this new method), although if they do request this hopefully GC can RNS it so we can see they are getting somewhere.
Nice to see a good blue finish to the day.
what a load of old ****e. the s.p will move if random people want a 50/50 gamble and buy, or they sell because they’re fed up waiting. and if the esia is awarded, it’ll rocket. not because it’s a support line or if there’s an elephant pattern crossing a mud flap spiral. just because it opens back up the whole project. honestly, great work and i’m sure it took you some time, but i seriously don’t see why you bother. not for eml anyway

As difficult as they want to make it
The silence just seems to go on and on. Surely - at this stage - there must be a hint of where we are at with the ESIA. How difficult is it to make a decision?
No . lol
Did the 10% drop surprise you?
@Aghmir, as much as I feel your hurt about your father, how was TestPack supposed to know your father was deceased? Your response was a little over dramatic don’t you think?
Very good to hear from you Westie, pleased to know you are ok. Your contributions are very valuable but totally understandable if you have decided to take a step back from posting.
I remain fully invested but just hope that the ESIA does finally come soon, it has been an extremely long wait and a very frustrating time for long term holders.
All the best to you.
Aghmir.

Good.
As I said, never posted anything on interest or factual. Sorry about your Dad. Everyone has a time.
Good to see you back Westie50...

Afternoon Trev79. Many thanks indeed for your very kind words from a few days ago.
A while ago i took the conscious decision to stop posting on here mainly because the board has descended into a breeding ground for undesirables who purely wanted to argue in a nasty fashion and have no apparent interest in decent discussion. Of course, like your good self, there's still a few very decent posters left and I continue to read yours and their comments with interest.
FWIW I'm still positive re EML despite the current sp. I believe there's a lot going on behind the scenes. I might post again in the future but for now i'll retreat to the sidelines again.
You are a disgusting person
You have no respect for the dead. My father was a businessman in Spain, and my father, may God have mercy on him, never worked in the Moroccan government.
Who is Agmir?
I am a Dutch citizen of Moroccan origin, and I am proud of my Moroccan origins.

Thanks for the reply Testpack and for clarifying your position as my initial question was. You are very touchy though aren’t you. More than happy to dish it out but get very defensive if anyone questions you. At no point did I say only SH can comment. This is a message board, that’s the whole point for people to post messages or questions. But as usual you come back aggressive. If you don’t want someone questioning you or your business don’t post on here.
Edinvest. lol & ferriscule.
I sold all my shares some time ago, at a profit. I bought back in when Company reported development of KMA(?) to reduce water requirements, and improve grades. With the gossip on here of Russian collaboration in The Kingdom, it is very plausible and likely that Russia has influence in The Kingdom, possibly a lot. Would certainly explain the delays, which nobody on here can explain, and the BOD obviously have nothing to say either. So, I sold out, again, at a profit, again, and why the Hell would I want to buy in lower when I think Administration is likely. Are you mad. Where in the fine print does LSE say only SH can post. Be quiet and mind your own affairs, not mine.
As for Aghmir and his 'contacts' in Morocco. His Dad probably is a valet on a parking lot on Govt owned land. There again maybe not.. Never posted anything remotely interesting or near the truth.
I
Still happy then lol :-))
No its not BigFoot its the Turnip.

£64k buy across two trades back to back, so perhaps one person buying in.
Wouldn’t surprise me to see a sharp
move on No news ..
@Aghmir - have you already asked then about the permit ......any response etc ?
Trying to square the circle here. Lots of "National" meetings happening so how is it possible that the last documented meeting that ruled over investor appeals was Nov'21 ? Must be a huge backlog or are they being reviewed offline.
Additionally the audience is broadly similar re. Investment & Ministerial committee which is why previously they just rolled one into the other to hear appeals. Investment committee has met 3 x since EML "appeal" so surely once you have the guys in the room you just knock them out afterwards.
Did ask the company for thoughts but no response.
Honestly not a scooby what is going on here....."When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth" Big Foot ?
Where we going with this? What next? Sightings of Big Foot in the woods nearby? UFO's overflying hoovering up potash and depositing on the dark side of the moon? Mulder and Scully joining the BoD?
thats your opinion beyondthesea which is great...let's remember though that everyone on this board is also entitled to theirs without anyone getting ****y.
Aghmir, well said, I have a mate who's Russian & sent him a screenshot of the earlier conversation, he nearly spat is coffee out lol.
Older generation Russians, blame any unexplained event on the British, they call us the old fox.
If anything has held up the ESIA it's almost certainly water & waste water.
The drought in Morocco is in its 4th year & this years rainy season isn't rainy.
