Not wishing to split hairs, but the dividend reference related to the dividend paid in January. They've given no guidance on the dividend due to be paid in July albeit, based on this RNS, there's no grounds to consider that the dividend will be cut; there may even be scope to increase the quarterly dividend to (say) 0.75p at some point in the next couple of quarters.
I don’t think the market expected such good numbers!
More cash and Divi also held!

Armchair trader coverage….

Just bought a chunk at 30.4p showing as a sale
Wow that’s a significant director buy! I say the large trades go through and wasn’t sure if they were a buy or sell. Now we know!
Directors sell for many reasons but tend to only buy for one!
Usual caveats
Trek
“ Proceeds from the exit further strengthens Duke's balance sheet, enabling deployment into its pipeline of new investment opportunities”
Further strengthens, not bolsters or strengthens but wtfdik! I didn’t think there was an issue with the balance sheet as hinted on BB’s.
More so the sp was likely down on interest rate/Corp tax rate and other macro impacts on businesses. At least energy is now cheaper and they should be able to fix at low prices..
As duke has come this far with a full book I think they are through the worst of it!
Usual caveats

Ah, so it was the lingua franca.......
More to the point, we are today closing inon a prospective 9.5% yield, which seems very attractive to me. i suppose the fear is that the Bod get impatient and do another raise, rather than growing organically, which is what has undermined the SP in the past.
But even so, it's looking a bargain to me.
Sure Gengh, I did not construe immediately; but before there was English or Esperanto there was Latin; with which strangers might communicate.
Tbf, LonSouE is English language, and requires posters to include translation of anything else. So stick that in your pipes Taffs.
Not currently invested here, gla.
Yeah! Blue at last and 9% yield paid quarterly!
Usual caveats

Grabbed all the rest below 30p flipped some others into here for a higher yield. Could be rather fortuitous if 30 now holds.

Added again. My 10k buy shows as unknown. I can only assume that there is a background seller as the recent volume has been indicative of mostly buys esp today and the sp is stuck!
Near my target now and intend to tuck these away for regular income.
Usual caveats

Got 10k more 31.09! Helps to average in. May visit 28-30 who knows but it has been short lived in the past so I will stick to plan. 31p is around 9% yield.
This years energy prices should be being fixed soon for businesses and they are much cheaper. Also bad news budget wise is out the way, electioneering next! and boe sounding dovish now!
Duke held when market was down and is down when market is up! Sums it up really! But happy to bag some yield.

As someone points out on another thread, this is a sound divi payer which should not just return a steady divi, but as and when rates trend lower should appreciate, too.
It is not one of those get rich quick scheme where the BB is infested with talk of ramping and deramping, and I suggest anyone here talking of such is best ignored. As are obscure Latin quotations, which tell us nothing about the company but, quite intentionally, everything about the ego of the poster.
"Newly invested here I thought the dividend should of been today.does anybody know when it is ?"
Try looking at Dukes' website.
Tucking these away compounding up at over 8% is a no brainer. You are booking over an over 8%+ annuity. Once inflation drops and interest rates drop it will look a smart move. Still look forward to the day a royalty partner sells and we get the 20% premium and equity profit. Duke compounding these numbers up in the future is what its all about.
'if I can not reach Heaven I will raise Hell'
https://www.latin-is-simple.com/en/vocabulary/phrase/683/
Kentio. Google translate comes up with "Should bend a little Heaven I can not, I will move Acheron.", which does not make a lot of sense to me. Perhaps we need either a Doctor or a Latin scholar to help us mere mortals to get the point.
Google is your friend when it comes to Latin.
But if you mean the first section, you can't have failed to notice that these pages are besieged by superior beings who try to talk the share price up and down. Duke, Jarvis, VPC/VSL.
One minute they wouldn't touch the company with someone else's barge pole, the next they are full invested, the future is bright, then suddenly they are all out and advising their followers to do the same.
They used to confine themselves to penny oil stock boards, but they somehow made the leap into quarterly dividend payers. Soon they will be old enough to spend their time in the pub and learn to drive.
Please translate
The derampers are buying back in this morning. What time will they start ramping ?
Wouldn't want to be out of this over the weekend. Etc. Etc.
Flectere si nequeo superos, Acheronta movebo.
Thank you
Tonka, yes, right to expect it as you will see from this link:
https://www.dividendmax.com/united-kingdom/london-stock-exchange/financial-services/duke-royalty-limited/dividends
They tend to declare on Thursdays, so maybe 23rd this year?
Newly invested here I thought the dividend should of been today.does anybody know when it is ?
Back in for first lot. These held up well yesterday and the reinvestment incentive has helped offset the corp tax hike.
Directors also happy to hold so happy to build a position here again at a lower level.
Usual caveats
Trek
I am waiting for the budget to be out the way before buying back in. That will still be in time for the xd.
Govts have a habit of achieving unintentional consequences and a 25% corp tax level could actually send shockwaves through the small cap space!
