Could it be significant that Cyan have chosen Friday 31st May to have their presentation - as the final of the seven phases of voting days in India , which started on 19th March 24 is on Monday 1st June 24 - so all voting over and the results will be announced on Tuesday 4th June. Just an observation but seemed to be timed to avoid voting periods especially as India is 4.5 hours ahead of UK. Lol, sounding desperate now . GL Vas
Love your optimism Vascular.;0)
Being well down on my investment, I would love that to be true, but does any good news come out on Friday?
Bury the news and hope people have forgotten over the weekend!
I wish you and all holders, good luck.
I'd be surprised if they go into the presentation without at least confirming the full year revenue figure, I don't think the "revenue expected to materially exceed market expectations" will be good enough. Which I suppose means an RNS between now and next Friday
Hi Sandgrounded. I was rather hoping that Cyan would give us a very positive Q&A on Friday, so to get us warmed up for after the election results with any new Cyan news in India being announced later on the back of a Modi win, and a further massive infrastructure investment by Modi, in India energy on Tuesday as he wins election . I'm hoping that after the election news can again flow freely and in our direction. GL
Hi vas, on this occasion I don't think it likely unless there is a chance that Utilities may be knowing their local vote results start taking actions on contract signings.
I don't think there should be any real concerns. Having been told that 80% of this year's forecast is already contracted the chances of not reaching 100% seems remote.
Electoral bonds ...genus infrastructure ....
Hi Tony, I'm banking on that with many of these large smart meter awards having only around 27 / 30 months to complete, with penalties if not , the clocks are already ticking for many so I'm thinking business has been going on as normal behind the news of the current elections ...and once the last day of voting is over then many company's will have news to share that has been supressed, held back or delays in signing....I think June will show a sharp rise in contract announcements with a Modi win, long with the gusto, rhetoric and investment of a new term in office .
Chuffedtobits, be prepared for radio silence on YE.
IMO there is no way JC will let that info go out before a Q&A, not a hope in hell.
I'm not so sure Colour, he did last year
Well, we have 9 days to find out. I don't recall any YE reports being released anywhere near close prior to a Q&A, if they do it will be a real interesting hours viewing. I very much doubt JC has the confidence, in the figures he already knows, to risk taking questions on such current information.
If I am wrong, I will be first to post it here.
I was basing my earlier comments on a quick look back to 2023 when the full results were published on 26th July before a Q+A session on 1st August. I'm not expecting the full results to be released in the next week or so but I do think they'll announce something otherwise why have the Q+A now
Good afternoon all,
Looking back over recent years, the CyanConnode Final Results have been published on 26th July, 2023, 23rd August, 2022, 6th August, 2021 and 4th September, 2020, for the years when the CyanConnode's Financial Report, was linked to the end of the tax year, which ended on 31st March for 2023, 2022, 2021 and 2020.
The Finals Report for 2019, was published on 13th May, 2019, because it was linked to the end of the CyanConnode Financial Year at the time, which was 31st December, 2018.
So January to May 2019, for the Year Ending December 31st, 2018, gives us a 5 month time-line of August 2024, give or take, for the Final Results to be published, for the March 31st, 2024, financial year.
We may have a Trading Update, in the interim period, only time will tell on that score.
Good Luck all.
LTI.
Blimey Colour not another pie. I think JC has been holding off Q&A hoping to fill the space with at least one piece of good news, so if anything comes along in next 10 days I recon it will be straight up there. Then he can gloat,as we do.
Vas, I agree time will be running out to meet the 27 months etc, I think CC will be geared up to go into full production. If we got 25% of say 100m that would mean CC turning out 1m units a month with a revenue possibly between £12m and £20m per month. That is a lot and SP should reflect this. DYOR
