Empty, I certainly hope there is not a takeover but CC must look atractive from inside and outside of the industry. DYOR
Well jake, we all know AIM is a risk, what we do not need is somebody making it obvious. CC makes a surprisingly bold update after all the knocking from the anti's of last weeks. Yet still you will not ride with it and start again with all the doubts. We will shortly know our fate so be cheerful. Changing to such a lead broker says to me that there is something big afoot. Otherwise why do it. DYOR
Morning Tony.
"Morning jake, we all know what AIM is about, you are stating the obvious, I wonder why"
WTF does that mean? I posted it as something worth a read, then again of course there are some big words contained within the piece so some may struggle. DYOR :))))
Interesting that Panmure have put their hands up for the business. I suspect this suggests a significant corporate deal is in the offing - why else make such a big upgrade to the adviser roster?
Perhaps a spot of M&A, given the imminence of a probable Modi victory in the Indian elections?
Morning jake, we all know what AIM is about, you are stating the obvious, I wonder why.
LTI, I agree when expanding you need investment, but, a big but, why always go back to the chosen few, offer it out and let them sell off any unwanted. Better still do normal practice and take a loan, I am sure the likes of Genus would give a loan to keep their continuity fluid. Many of us have have averaged but what about those who have not. Theirs was an honest investment, including Funds why should their shares be made worthless whilst the BOD & co gain. I go along with most that JC says but not on finance, when we came down to 150m shares we were making a loss, now 300m we have doubled that. However some amongst us have gained dramatically and will continue to do so as we burst into the big time. DYOR
An old article but worth a read.....

Lansdown genus ...took over crux cyanconnode .....how are contracts India awarded .....genus share price . ... Would it not make sense to invest in stage 1 first ..
Morning ITT.
I agree somethings afoot. I do however think the walkdown of the shareprice, the large seller a while back after bigging up the company, the new orders RNS, the update release, all fit the usual MO.
This is one share I've found reasonably easy to risk manage just by following the usual trend,I'm hoping the company doesn't shaft long term holders.
Perhaps allowing them to take shares at the same sort of opportunity / discount to take part as the institutional shareholders based on their current shareholding would go down well....and.... back In the room. :))
Hi jakeandelwood
I think that there's a chance that market is going to be caught out with this one. A fundraise seems too obvious and dull at this moment in time to me.
I'm expecting what's coming to be more complicated than that. Not sure what 'that' is though.

Good morning all,
As I have commented on before, a Placing for expansion, is far better than a Placing for survival. CyanConnode are in a different position now-days. The out-look is different and the potential of the Company, is far greater.
This proposed new entity in the United Arab Emirates, could open up many different avenues of business, for CyanConnode, with existing and new Partners.
Enjoy the journey and Good Luck all.
LTI.
Remember, BoD hold a lot of stock.
Also consider M&A.
Cyan is growing very rapidly & will attract attention for a buyout, especially at this price.
Another form of insider trading.
"appointment of joint broker"
For me this points to one thing....... a large placing, question is at what price. Would explain why the SP has been dropping.
Good evening Vas,
I agree. It always pays to have a plan B, where/when possible. And the attendee's seem to be making the most of their opportunities, with being able to " .... schedule online or face-face-meetings .... " at short notice.
Alfanar and EDMI are also Partners of CyanConnode and are/were exhibiting at the event. But Genus Innovation Ltd are, I would think, part of the larger Genus Group. But no doubt, hopefully, they will exchange e/mails when the event is done.
Good Luck Vas and all.
LTI.
I also read that Genus, very shortly after the announcement was made opened up a hotel , inviting guests to come and speak to them there.
Always have a contingency plan in your back pocket, i guess. GL Vas
...... event seems to be soldiering on:-

Good Luck all.
LTI.
Hi tony .....genus share price up about 30% ..... ..connection ..
Interesting observations, my take is that we have had these ups and downs so many times in the past that it will take some budging to get SP moving. JC is showing a lot of confidence and bearing in mind his responsibilities as CEO I feel there is good news to follow shortly. Money comes into everything but I think CC has proved itself regarding quality, installation and SLA. I would like an update on MYSORE (yes Colour); their Utility CFO was very supportive in his praises, I don't know if LTI could possibly rake that out, they were making money from the word go. I would be good if JC could make an whole documentary on how the installation has fared, how Feeders have dealt with the new setup, how expansion has progressed, reliability, Utilities profts and what Utility thinks of show so far. That could go a long way to convincing stragglers of CC benefits. DYOR
Wonder if Mr very upbeat has bought his shares back yet?
It can only be the falling margins. Hitting revenue expectations won't cut it with the huge overheads now in place.
It feels like the SP is being held back for whatever reason, I bought a lot of shares a week or so ago and the SP didn't budge
What might revenue materially exceeding market expectations look like?
Current expectation = £16.3m
Exceed by 3% = £16.8m
Exceed by 10% = £17.9m
What is going on here? Why is the SP still less than 9p?
Yesterday's RNS should definitely have been a trigger for a rise but others appear to know something that JC has not yet told the market. How is that right?
How to create a mosquito heaven ....mosquito .. camel ....mers....
Looks like someone overdid it. They were not going to let a few clouds go by.
