Has anyone done any research on these guys to what the likely hood is we'll get the settlement.
Probably would've been easier for you to just tell me since you took the time to respond.
CAP-XX intends to vigorously pursue the recovery of these awards, though it is unclear at this time whether this will be successful.
Essential yes, the litigation was brought before the ‘sales’ of the assets thus we would have a legal right to them.
IF they have been sold for two bob then happy days, we could potentially claim everything sold for next to nothing along with anything else we find.
I agree, if you can't reply to someone in a reasonable civil manner then don't bother commenting. Reasonable question he asked, it's people like you ken that ruin this chat for everyone.
Hi Kenny I thought I'd stumbled across an awkward chat group. I spotted this share when by chance I found the last corporate update while looking for another RNS on investegate. Thought they looked good but had to wait to pull out of another share before I dipped my toe in here.
The position as I understand is that when you buy a company you can just buy the assets ie it doesn't have to come with the associated debts. In this case the purchaser continued to produce the same product and presumably we have a claim against them which will have to start from the beginning of the process again. Basically we have been out manoeuvred in this case although I don't know what we could have done to avoid it. Some observers however say the judgement which is essentially the same as the Maxwell case , strengthens the likelihood of a positive outcome to that case. Who knows the company tells us little
Mer - I tell you what would be easier - you doing research for your answer on the same website you're asking the question on. It's lazy.
So Kenny can you tell me what the purpose of this chat board is, if it's not to share information and discuss the share? Is it just for trolls to insult people??
The problem with people like Kencarv, they scare people from making comment, so all we get are the same people dominating the chat, that reduces the amount of valuable info coming through and it becomes all based on the opinions of a small elite.
Well Kenny, he doesn't scare me !! Its your money say what you want
Yep, think you're gonna have to deal with being called lazy...it can get a lot more fruity than that around here!
OS the company communicated its strategy on pursuing patent infringement cases in its interim update on 16th March, it then said it is continuing its action against Maxwell. So the company has told you everything you need to know on the matter IMO. If that doesn't make sense to you or you need them repeat it more often then mail them on investors@cap-xx.com.
why don't people just click on the "RNS" button above and read through.
Can't understand newbies coming on and not already had a look at the existing RNS's.....crazy.
It also said later "following the previously announced success in the patent infringement case against Ioxus Inc, CAP-XX is now pursuing the recovery of the US$4.9m court award, though it remains unclear whether this will be successful". It would nice to have an informed opinion of the issues and likelihood of success as there must come a time when you are throwing money down the drain.
What needs to be discussed. We won the court case. IOXUS got taken to the cleaners. We are now 'pursuing the recovery of the US$4.9 court award, though it remains unclear whether this will be successful".
What part of that do you want to debate?
What can be debated is your incompetency to read and understand information, let alone make an informed decision as a result.
The hum of a drone in an openspace .... Trying to disrupt the silence ......
We won the case but Ioxus did not get taken to the cleaners. It hasn't cost them one penny so far (apart from their legal costs). We even employed some of the staff. More importantly we have not seen a penny but have had to pay our costs, So so far it has cost us money . All that CPX has said is look we are trying to get blood out of a stone but it looks like we are flogging a dead horse. The bottom line is that it is going to cost us. If they can identify revenue from royalties they should be honest and tell us what this has cost
An even louder hum disturbing the silence of an open space ! News must be coming
I agree in what you are saying OS but would you agree that the coming few months could be a good time for Cap-XX holders?
The last RNS stated:-
"Total project costs remain on track and are currently forecast to be less than the estimate of A$5.3m provided in November 2019." Money possibly saved.
"The Board expects to receive a payment currently estimated to be A$3.3m from the Australian Taxation Office in Q4 2020" More money for the kitty.
"Trading in the period since 30 June 2020 has been strong, with the current sales order book being over 50% higher than this point last year. Total Revenue for the first quarter to date is over 10% above last year" Possibly more money for the kitty.
"The Board remains confident that the Company has sufficient cash to complete the integration of the ex-Murata customers and manufacturing assets, which is expected to result in a significant uplift in revenue and positive cashflow from operations in due course" Even more money!
Be honest, surely even you can see that theres a good chance of positive news to come from now on?
yes open, that's right. It didn't cost them anything except $5m (USD), their staff and the fundamental capability to operate as a business. That's right open.
Love seeing the shorters scrape the barrel... sounds like you're scared of your short getting burnt open?
The problem is spoon that for the last god knows how many years CPX have come up with the same old "remain on track", "expects to receive", "has been strong", "expected to result" platitudes which always fail to deliver. By the way I have written to CPX as suggested to see if they have any figures to support Murata customer retention. They have not responded so far. This share is about confidence . Mine is lower than yours simples
