@lokanraej are you new here?
Around 10B shares were printed and sold since December -- to private contacts. We found out after the fact in every case.
CEO even made a video where he bragged about how hard he was working doing it.
The wonga boys where always dumping regardless of a consolidation its their mo
quick safe profits lenders not investors in for the journey
The consolidation fingers crossed is as others have mentioned with REAL II and financial
house in mind not the dump double quick brigade that many foolishly believe are
investors cause it says so in the RNA message
Clue is II's are in for organic growth and dividends not just the next spike, the dilution
could come in the form when/if it arrives as a single high level finance house taking it
all and sitting with a high percentage of the company for years to come looking at the
big picture not the next news spike to dump more
Todays MC is just on the cusp of £50m where such companies start to take an interest
could be Arty (give him some latitude for now) has pulled off such a deal and have said
before they like to see their shares much higher and the shares in issue much lower
dividends in pence not confetti fractions
Said before dilution if done for the right reasons is a good thing and adds to the share
value, been in some stinkers in the past e.g. anything with Andrew ******* at the helm
consolidation on a regular basis after ending up at square one again after more rainbow
chasing , no progress and still no revenues and the scum of the earth YA II PN death
spiral CLN finance
So now we wait for the why's and wherefores but at the end of the day at 100-1 today
we would be 0.32 and £50m MC going to 156.4m shares at 32p and still £50m MC
An asset with a base value of over £200m , Growing production and revenues , more
reserves and production/revenues from the Deeps that could be prolific Horizontal
wells in comparison to Shannon/Miscible operations
Also Nigeria the original Arty dream maker still on the books and could be bigger
Hardly the Andrew ******* did nowt made nowt ever with 3 consolidations scenario
Do not panic YET lol
:))
Do you think some posters on here know about this? Supposing it were as you say?
Well, if he does a raise at less SP than previous raise after having purchased an asset worth 4 times current SP producing oil at 4 times initial purchase then he must be one of the most incompetent CEO’s in living history, lol. Most dodgy CEO’s have the nous to pump it first before a raise. You guys were all screaming out for consolidation and now it’s a fate worse than death! Make up your mind.
Hoping. Exactly. Market cap still remains at £50 million odd. Personally I do not see a problem with consolation. I have mentioned a couple of times we need a consolidation.
Trying to catch up on posts I am ought on the Town.
Right, no official RNS, no Sedar announcement.
Before we all go and lose our heads up our own backside - could the Broker have made a mistake? Wouldn’t be the first time, HSBC told all that our shares are moving to Canada.
It’s human nature and only natural to think of the worst case scenario, we could all be worrying over nothing or some may think consolidation is good.
Anyway, stay safe and good night.
I am new yes, but learning fast at the deep end, it would seem.
The only disaster I can see is diluting by half to pay off CUDA's debt... that sounds a bit ridiculous even to me and I doubt that will happen. Getting Cuda's assets if at a very good price might work out pretty well.
Haha maybe its for another Nigerian Prince's oil prospect?
LB is correct on the forward selling , when TR1's did turn up on a true and regular
basis you could take two pieces of paper on one list the announcement messages
amount and date supposedly to hit the market
On the other the date in the TR1 and shares held, in many case if you then slid the
two papers to match up the holding they all fell one step out , showing the previous
tranche had be sold and the next date was the day the next tranche to be called for
Stuck out like a Donkey's dick especially on CLN's and likewise with each 1% move
reported back then also became obvious the level of selling and when so could see
the prices they had bought or dumped at
Not the now if they bother to send at all or give a hey guys todays fantasy is we just
dropped or gained 10-15% of your company the day before yesterday *******s
Hence the pump and dump market since late 90's price pumped up to gain profit
margins to sell down into a drop aka the dump, rinse repeat as many times as it
takes to get clear
Remember the recent placings warrants and option issued since last summer
0.15p 0.20p 0.26p 0.32p will have all made nice profits for the wonga boys before
and since return 0.6 and down
Event the many 0.39p Warrants issued last year including 141m to death spiral
scum YA/RGO twins where probably part of the 802.5m announced as having been
now converted on the 23/25th August as is their mantra probably forward sold
and their 0.39 dumped on opening (nice work if you can get it) Zero outlay or
commitment to convert but like flies on **** when the opp arrives lol
:))
Demon G, the only explanation for that would be that he has a limited window of opportunity e.g. to get CUDA.
We are Not talking Union Jack Oil here. I can understand the reservations with a consolidation but essentially COPL is producing sensible revenue and its fundermentals appear attractive.
I got out of UJO years ago because the whole project looked like pie in the sky and the company consolidation just added to the drawn out fiasco of never finding oil.
Good evening all.
You turn the screw on Cuda, you don’t bail them out. Concentrate on the core business, build it up and grown a viable business first and foremost. It makes zero business sense to acquire them in their current state. A lot of hysteria here, let’s see what happens. Its not how you do business if you have ambitions to be a major player. Have a good weekend all.
WE have the weekend to talk this out. Just woke up to read about the consolidation news. I'm in favour in principle. Too much confetti flying around in the breeze makes us a bit of a joke in the eyes of ii. Whatever surprises Art has in store for us in addition
,we are now going to be a 'proper ' share. Thank the Lord for that.
Knowing Art there will be a downside short term but for those young enough to live a few years more ,they will prosper.
I feel in spite of everything Nigeria may yet rescue us all. That will change everything and be even more transformational than Atomic and Cuda combined Let's see what Monday brings
The leap straight to 100-1 from UP TO does suggest he now has hard and fast
figures in mind for something we are yet to be made aware of , hands up who's
shocked Arty pulled a flanker lol
The only question that remains to determine if such a large consolidation worth it
will be how accretive the funding spend is to the company , another steal of a deal
fast track deep drills etc
Or again could just simply be to make more attractive to upper tier REAL II's to
INVEST and support the companies plans , not lend and stifle (wonga/dumper)
the SP while the market cap keeps growing
The uppers will want to keep a large percentage of the company with a view to
growing their investment and potential dividends, not in their interests to keep
the company under the thumb, they like us want a rising price over each year
brought back only once or twice a year when dividends cut off day, initially
drops MC by the amount of the declared dividend before a recovery
:))
@Shaa this is multiple brokers, all publishing in their own syntax.
If there had been a mistake, we would have a breathless press release from Art by now.
(Art, whose inbox is probably overflowing with "love notes" about this latest surprise.)
The silence speaks volumes.
Essentially anything that happens at this stage seems to me part of an attempted transformation from a sketchy to a solid company.
Hopefully there won't be short term pain for us though, but as hopingforbags says, the share price is a function of the market cap, and the market cap shouldn't be diminished if based on production, assets and so on, rather than purely speculative potential as I expect is the case with companies whose share value is damaged by consolidation. And even an acquisition and dilution might actually be well received by the market if it's of good value... the messed up way we found out might not be received well however, but I suppose we will see.
Please correct me if you do know of examples where the market cap reflected the consolidation rather than the company's good health?
LOL "solid company" behaviour: Doing a 100:1 share consolidation for no published reason, during a time of extreme share price weakness.
Then not telling your shareholders, and letting them find out "through the grapevine" via form letters from their brokers. At a time when some can still trade, but other have their markets already closed for the weekend.
As solid as the day is long.
Lethal if he is not playing with the wrong crowd , then we should not drop lower
as LB posted several times this week they seem to have made a floor here
and I posted the unusual amount of intra day UT trades setting the trend to keep
in this range
Our MC is just over £50m the upper real II's if you have a read around same with many
funds have an investing criteria listed and commonly amongst them is the investment
in companies with growth and dividend potential and a steady Market value over £50m
If he is talking to the right crowd they will not want it to drop as many of those same
companies stringent on their policy and if the Investment drops below their threshold
will drop like a hot potato
Hoping is Hoping he is finally in with the right crowd and they want to see a more marketable
looking share 156m not 15.6 billion confetti shares , dividends in pence not fraction long term
potential for growth , Copl now ticking all those boxes
Now we wait and see WHO if a placing coming is involved , a direct investment in the company
for equity , not a placing, warrants or cln's to be quickly dumped would be a massive signal to
the market
The name and their history will signal we are on our way and a great consolidation move or
ffs Arty up to his old tricks again and here we go again deja vu mark 2 lol
:))
Though on the Canadian XOP board a regular poster, usually positive, is saying worst case it will fall to .2 in London. Which worries me.
https://ceo.ca/xop?77107c4aae18
Have the wells stopped producing?
CawCaw, you certainly have a point.
Caw Caw. Yes agree with all you say. What is equally shocking is that we are not in the least surprised. It's Art's way to be economical with the truth LOL
as said we are on the cusp of £50m MC in London if he wants real Investors
to support the companies growth he's not going to get them dropping
below this level
If he has cracked it with an upper tier REAL INVESTOR would imagine the current
antics holding around 0.32p will after we get news and rise , he will give a typical
rna message WE ARE DELIGHTED .........deepmoneybagsareus have taken a direct
15% equity interest in the company ,,,,,,,, x million shares to be issued to the new
core investor raising proceeds of y millions for the companies ???????? use
:))
I can imagine some CEOs, on the verge of success, aim to share out the spoils with as many cronies as possible at the lowest possible cost to them, leaving as little as possible for private investors. I really hope it's not like that.
