Last year we got an update & outlook statement on Monday 27 January 2019. This was separate from the actual annual results for 2018 which were announced on 29 March 2019, the 2017 results were announced 23 March 2018. it is possible alternative finance transactions could be awaiting audited or even non-audited 2019 figures.
God help us Suhail you sound like a washing powder ad "..a new hope, being positive and a bright sunshine in the world."
When will you be 'dumping'?
I have had Suhail and his mum on filter since he started pouting s**te on here in his first post, I could tell straight away he was on a pump and dump mission.
Congratulations you have bought a small stake in a company you clearly know nothing about - you are not the first. You came here because of some chartist gibberish that has absolutely nothing to do with the factors that will move this share price. Chartist gibberish has no more to do with the future movement of COPL share price than Mystic Meg telling us about Pluto & Mercury.
My belief is that you dumped a day or two after your initial purchase, hence the 'inactivity' here.....and then repurchased after observing some relative stability after the post dump price drop.
Your current avg is likely much higher than 0.053p......all IMHO of course ;)
Atb & have a good day
Not sure why holders here are being hounded for being positive imo their investment by people who want the company to fail who likely hold no shares. It’s risk vs reward isn’t it. Happy with the risk vs reward. Finance news and imo within days this hits 1p.
Not a bad idea DM, the problem with these 'pump & dump' merchants is that they disrupt attempts by longstanding investors to discuss actual issues. ie I was trying to see if others thought the year end figures might potentially delay an alt finance announcement.
I fully agree with you Jiving that they ('pump & dump' merchants) do deter investors whether potential or long term holders from having proper discussions on subjects that are actual issues, the good thing is they don't seem to hang around too long.
If you were the source of the alternative finance you would want all the stakeholders, to use the euphemism, On the same page and singing the same tune.
Essar have been a loose canon and we have to assume some amicable agreement has now been reached.
The alt finance provider will want this legally battened down and I would think the financing would be done in stage payments based on milestones.
Just my twopenneth.
Dont worry Suhail, now that you have filtered everyone, you can just write messages to yourself and all will be rosy.
I wish I had bought so low still hurts my 5k buy at 1.67p and I thought that was amazing for what we had oh well time is ticking we will soon know our destiny. Good luck all
Third failure is trusting a guy like Art .... :)
Let's hope he doesn't get arrested for indecent exposure, when he 'pulls it off'...!! ;)
I think the issue is you waxing lyrical about Art Millholland's positive attributes Suhail, even saying that you would also act the way he does due to his supposed ill treatment by shareholders of COPL stock.
That has nothing to do with setting stop losses or your mother.....or whatever else you deem fit to throw out there in your prolific posting.
What it does is reflect an ignorance of the way he's conducted himself in the past.
Of course, that doesn't mean a deal wont be pulled out of the hat (I'm still invested for such an outcome)....but to reiterate, that's not the major issue people seem to have with your rhetoric.
Atb & have a good evening
Every long term shareholder here would love for this to come good. Sukhail, I noticed you were boasting about the fact you are researching this company below. So please look into this. Several years ago, at an AGM, an investor asked why we had such high staff costs while on standby to develop Liberia. Art's justification was we needed this expert staff, but he could contract them or farm them out to create revenue while they were on standby. And we were told they were on a job at that time. I can't seem to find any financials that disclose contract revenues in COPL from contracting out our staff. Can you? Because it doesn't make sense to have expert staff on standby for 5 to 7 years, doing nothing.
I know Art reads the boards. He also knows who I am. I have never personally insulted Art, nor will I start. But I will question inconsistencies and things that don't add when he has made a PUBLIC representation.
I am waiting to see if he can make this company succeed, in any fashion, or if he is going to blow it up. I believe he had a rough personal year last year, so I wish him the best personally. I really do hope he has the energy and motivation to push this over the goal line finally.
Cdnoilsupporter- well expressed and with dignity.
Good stuff- broadly agree. I have contacted AH but not engaged in insulting comments. Also appreciate his difficulties like those of others.
Nonetheless he owes the shareholders. I think he must now deliver.
Art's accountability as CEO, is much greater than an anonymous poster's opinion expressed on a BB.......just staing the obvious of course!
Atb & have a lovely evening
Not everyone here loaded up on 17 million shares at 0.0053. You are up about 60% if you haven't unloaded already. Good luck. You keep ignoring what people have actually posted and think its okay to twist it to fit your argument, so I won't waste time with you any longer. When you tell us how we should invest objectively, I am gobsmacked to hear you suggest we should ignore the fact that this CEO has repeatedly not delivered on public representations. I guess it makes more sense to have a positive attitude! : )
Suk... All this theory is fine while sitting at a keyboard pontificating.
In reality investment on AIM is without doubt - high risk- potential high reward - but more likely very high and repeated losses.
Timing is everything- but how often do any of us get that right.
I feel that while you are taking a risk now- others have justifiably got grievance - you should have the decency to recognise the fact and show some respect accordingly.
You don’t have a monopoly on wisdom or anything for that matter.
Cd - now why can't everyone post like you do!
ATB NE
Cdnoil. The issue of why oh why our team is not sub contracting in their down time is a big ongoing issue. What do they do all day for the last 2-3 years with OPL226 & other minor ventures taking up what some 10-20% of their time?
If this goes out with a whimper then I will feel really cheated that I invested in a great prospect with a great oil man at the helm that just stalled on the grid.
...great oily man perhaps!
Long term holder here and have averaged down and down and down... with still no positive news. Hopefully we all will get the news we want... come on Art....
