In the case of Jeremy Asher the term "Upstream" tends to mean "Upsh!_tcreek" as evidenced by the two previous signed off funding agreements by OilR and Beluga........go check them out.

The reason they would need to give away a huge chunk is because they are sub micro cap and have no ability to provide the huge funding required which could be circa 100m. If a major offered me 10% on either of those blocks I would bite their hand off getting it. A 10% free carry on a potential multi billion find could be massive. In the case of TRP I would say it wouldn't happen for a number of reasons but mostly because their CEO really has no clue about running an oil business. He cannot even get funding for a small short cycle project let alone attract the interest of a major. Back to 88E and I would say Gilbert has no clue and is just another AIM lifestyle parasite and maybe would have trouble running running a fc_uk up in a brothel. For balance I have the same opinion about PANR management and led by donkeys is appropriate all round.

Brom: You have long been regarded as the " cogniscenti" on 88e for a long while now. Namibia as I see it is wildcat and high cost and requires a high cost farm in. TRP and GBP are playing up their licence areas but without the involvement of a major who would rightly want 90%+ then they are effectively worthless.

The SP is bombed out and not far off getting close to the priced to fail area. In your opinion are the company chasing rainbows in Alaska or do you see value in continuing or is it just another pointless exercise to pursue something that would be uneconomical and not viable ? There is oil there but economic recovery does not look good and without a farm out really out of reach. Something could come out of left field of course but I was hoping you might give us your thoughts on how this might pan out in the near to medium term.

This is no surprise and you can bet a placing is coming. UKOG did it two months ago and kept the lifestyle going for a bit longer.....Trade it ...........but with caution

Give it a rest Rick. GBP is a much better longer term option than TRP FWIW and the Geology of GBP's Namibia block is the one that's got the attention. If a major does farm in then it could be massive. Time will tell about TRP but I would not want to be holding the parcel when the music stops......which I expect shortly.

Day trading it is all it's good for but I've already done quite well out of it today so don't knock it. It's always amusing watching the usual suspects ramping it to the mugs who are about to become LTH. Asher is no doubt lining up the next placing right now. The RNS was nothing but recycled BS with nothing definite or signed off. GBP is more likely to close a deal than TRP.

Far too many posts getting removed for no reason other than they paint a negative but fundamentally true picture of the AIM market. The propaganda police on here seem to have a hotline to the LSE Admin.

Watch out for the false dawns and hype pre-placing which is coming your way very soon......and FFS don't rush in and say what a bargain it is to top up above the placing price, when for sure it will be well below that shortly after, and the spectre of a 100:1 consolidation looks inevitable now.

Charlie has summarised this company exactly. Here is the best clue to the problem with TRP for those who have still not worked it out and are clinging to the hope and belief that next year somehow the messiah will be sighted.

Makes little or no difference to the SP what is posted on these boards. I suspect Kever has more than 250m but that is irrelevant also.

The one thing about this company that is relevant is that it does have assets with value but they will never be converted into shareholder value so long as the current CEO has executive control.
