They will have terms in hotel contracts. The problem will be the handling of volume of changes as they will need to spend alot of time and resources to make changes if flights get cancelled or changed. Over the last couple of days alot of UK airlines saying summer will be fine.

OTB would be getting paid once customers depart on holiday. And prior to this customer's money is held in a protected fund. However they have recently started selling cruises and earning commission of 10-20% per booking. I know that when the use Ryanair or easyJet flights this is at net rates. And will inflate the price for customers. Also if customers book a transfer of car hire they will be earning commission per booking. They also have commenced redundancies a few weeks ago as they gave started with AI getting added to functions.

They just announced redundancy process over next 45 days. Due to tech and also slight downturn in sales.

Obviously OTB don't have aircraft etc... but when I've been searching for flights recently TUi, Jet2 have greater prices for flights only.. my flight in September has gone from £200 each to £250 to book with Ryanair. Jet2 and TUi can switch destinations and routes and contract more hotels if needed. Basically OTB is just a Travel Agent so could be pinned down by higher flight costs from suppliers...
