i did predict a drift down in the sp. there was some extremely minor kind of froth generated by the p & d crowd after the last update - bizarre considering the bad figures and lack of even tiniest slither of jam tomorrow. however it was never going to last as they are unwilling to risk the kind of cash needed...not surprisingly given the risk to reward ratio here. yes there are the odd cyclic jumps but you really have to be the first out or you are trapped in again

Worth is a subjective thing. If CNSL were to be sold as a standard business the value would be very little as sales are normally EBITDA+ goodwill. Cash isn't much of a factor.

For a small stock it is a little different. A listing has some advantage. I think about £4m isn't far off and I can't see the worlds most boring stock (tm) going down further (I would estimate the lowest could be in the 1.55p range but only as a blip following bad news/market volatility). The price hasnt shifted for so long because the company hasn't go anything to say.

We can expect the annual P&D any time now as the results will be out at the end of May. My guess is they are struggling so I would expect a correction at or slightly before they arrive. As a result buyer beware.

Milk . The only asset (that they have on the balance sheet) that I or the market consider pertinent to their current value is cash. Hence why the market values them as just over cash value.

Having £12 m on your balance sheet doesn't mean you can monetise it.

CaptainSwag - You obviously haven’t read the latest RNS properly. Yes the company have sustained losses but not the type of losses that will bankrupt the company. The loss for H2 2025 was only 0.4M and they’ve managed to cut costs and margins. Their EBITDA has improved but revenue has not. They still have 3.7M in the bank so still some way away before another fundraise would be necessary.

The company has stood still and not really expanded in their current territories. In fact sales have shrunk a little from previous years, but they have managed to cut costs, which underpins my argument and shoots down yours that they are still self sustainable. I suggest you read those RNSs a little more thoroughly, as this snake oil you keep referring to is just a made up catchword you’ve used to discredit the company at every opportunity. The company still has a lot of potential it’s just that the work ethic and innovation from the BOD is lacking. They need to get their fingers out.

I'm just looking at the timestamps, and can't believe that my last comment was the last comment for over a month. People have really lost inteest with this share. They must be sick to death with the lack of ambition and innovation from the company. Since the Covid days all the company has done is absolutely nothing, and in so doing, run the SP into the ground. Even before covid this share was reguarly trading above 10 and sometimes 20p. It's got to this point because the company hasn't moved forward. They need to bring on board people with fresh ideas that can improve on what they have or come up with new ideas. If they dont build on what they have and say they start to lose contracts, they are as good as dust. Interesting results today.

Lack of liquidity and a "big" buy relative to the normal stock activity. Upward pressure on the price over xmas trading sessions meant a rise was inevitable.

I'm expecting this to continue to rise from historic lows. That doesn't change the company or my outlook of it.

Weird rise on 19 trades and not huge amounts.

I guess it is just very illiquid
