Onlooker Who said DQ is not 100% confident the pledge wouldnt be acceptable? I just dont know how Roi can worm out of this one now, Roi's aim from day one was to limit the amount of compensation as possible. If annulment is in our favour then maybe we might get a juicy offer, its pointless dragging this on its not doing Roi any good, thats for certain.
Has anyone suucesfully transferred their CHL ISA to a NEX registered company, I am having trouble finding a company to accept at'Thesharecentre' will not accept I havealso phoned a few others on the NEX list. Anyone who has actually knows a transfer is possible I would be grateful for info, thanks.
Update tomorrow.
I just have a horrible feeling that ROI is too quiet. They have not contested the stay of cost or made any comment. I am thinking that if the pledge of land is successful we stand a very high chance of winning the case so I am not expecting them to be just sitting back waiting for a good chance of losing ! I expect them to come up with some silly reason why our deeds cannot be pledged, probably another blatant lie !. I think somebody actually said that DQ also was not 100% confident of the pledge being acceptable but he has maintained that he is confident of funding. I also think if we have funding from a reputable source it would be very positive. Also if ROI are able to have 1 more chance to try to hinder the case and that fails the chances are really high that they would throw in the towel ?
It's the discussion page for Schlumberger (hence SCL), which doesn't seem to be used for its own share chat whatever reason. You can find it here: http://www.lse.co.uk/ShareChat.asp?ShareTicker=SCL&share=Schlumberger
Strange, I have lost the chat on my iPhone and the search doesn't exist but still working here at the moment so we may loose it here and no chat on NEX but you will get news updates there. http://www.nexexchange.com/member?securityid=17818
Please ignore my ignorance but can anyone tell me what this is? Thanks can i ask do we have any idea when next announcement has to be made by?
This is because they no longer receive news alerts but they leave the chat site open although not sure for how long. Greta Engineering was delisted over a year ago and I just checked and you can still message there.
That LSE have allowed this to close when it is still on the NEX exchange?
http://www.lse.co.uk/SharePrice.asp?shareprice=CHL This thread stilll works here is the link to bookmark if anybody can see it. If not there are some posts on SCL

Waits for some better news ahead. Best of Luck All
Dont forget SCL is the new thread when/if this no longer works

ADVFN
So where is everyone?
The thread is no longer showing on the search engine..
(4) Notwithstanding the above, if a company, whose shares represent all or part of the subject-matter of a Spread Bet, goes into liquidation or otherwise becomes insolvent, or is otherwise dissolved or de-listed by the underlying market by reason of the length of its suspension, the day on which the company goes into liquidation, or otherwise becomes insolvent, or is otherwise dissolved or de-listed will be the Expiry Date of that Spread Bet, whether or not the Spread Bet would otherwise have had an Expiry Date. We will deal with your Spread Bet in the following manner: (a) If you hold a buy (up) Spread Bet, the closing level of the Spread Bet will be zero. On closing, a corresponding buy (up) Spread Bet will be opened at zero so that if a company makes a distribution to shareholders, an amount equalling the distribution will be credited to your Account
See that's interesting, because chl is suspended the stock gets rolled over every quarter, does that mean it's a new bet? I don't trust these scammers no more, I have a complaint going, will see what they say otherwise trip to the ombudsman..
It seems that iweb don't trade nex stock so they have moved them out of ISA. Once they are in they should have stayed in, with my broker just to stay on safe side we closed our trading account just in case they didn't move them there..
governing suspended and delisted stocks only to affect bets/trades opened after 10th July 2017 I've been told. Haven't looked myself.
There are double standards. Mine remain in my isa.
I find this outrageous. Once in your ISA, SIPP or whatever? I can't see why it can't stay there. I hold in my QROP that was a SIPP and no problem for me but had anyone tried to talk to the FSA? Once you own the certificate, it seems immoral that you should be made to move them. I understand not being allowed to be transferred in but this is ridiculous IMO,
I have just had a call from jarvis investments who do the admin for n&p. I was told by n&p that i would be able to transfer my chl stock into an isa with them as iweb had removed it from my isa with them. The guy one the phone said after speaking to their coperate action team and line manager that they ciuldnt transfer as chl are no longer trading, i said "no they are just in suspension" only to be told sorry we cannot transfer it. Bloody waste of time
Maestro, Congratulations v good info again, but what is your reasoning based on that allows you to be so confident about an out of court/ buy out solution.
