May actually finish Blue today - if so, certainly will be an interesting time, as further cash waiting on the sidelines enters the investment.
Very heavily watched by investors and the very strong bounce off support demonstrated yesterday was reassuring to see.

MATD also rising, so pleased to see my 2 .ain oil investments shaping up very well and complementing each other well with their different risk profiles.
Have a good day all
Did we ever get told who the Major/Super Major was/is that was talking to BPC. What are peoples thoughts on who this could be and why? Only asking as I'm sure it was mentioned in an interview that the data room is still open. Could it be that one reason a deal hasn't been done is because Potter and Uliel won't give away a % too cheaply because they are very very confident of what is down there and that they can get it out? Not intended as a ramp but it's the message I'm getting after watching the Vox interviews.
Morning Bonum..... can you drop the matd daily plug? That yak doesn’t live in the Bahamas....

And don't mention WTE, CLNR or JOG either. ;)
Hi Willi - there was mention of BP by a respected commentator recently.
It was also reported that they were trying to procrastinate the licensing tenure.

IK, the respected Lallee? Would be good to have clarity on the BP reference or confirmation it was a rare error to mention them ..
MORNING DX.
I wasn’t referring to our lovely Laalee!
Haven’t got time @ the mom to research who it was - couple of weeks ago - got to feed the birds and some even older peeps than me!

Think it was Laallee who mentioned BP as the interested Super Major - obviously he can clarify that.
Okay molokai, I hear you on MATD - check it out for yourself if you so wish ;)

Bonum, you're not referring to the MATD that's just ticked up again are you? Careful or they'll tell you to JOG on. ;)
i think there are a good few invested here that are also either invested in or sideline observers of MATD, UJO, CLON, UKOG, JOG, RBD, RMP, RKH,.....the list is long and distinguished but not exhaustive.
Many have been referenced here, some tipped occasionally, some ramped shamelessly. Bryn keeps a log of the more heavily plugged ones in a fantasy portfolio.
personal view, no harm in a mention of things going on elsewhere, or other shares that may be of interest to the BB.
Once it is on the agenda trust the BB community to DYOR etc
They can always PM a poster or post questions to them on the relevant tipped share BB.
P_I I totally agree. That's how I found out about new opportunities in the good old days. Plenty of folk don't do their own research and miss out. All of those you mention have a degree of merit except for CLON IMO. Previous SP rocket there following PET's move was beyond embarrasing given the total train wreck balance sheet and no active assets. How CLON's gone so long without doing a placing just defies belief IMO.
Just saw your previous post Phoebus, lol - I know you're in MATD too and why not have another one for a prospective 50p rise, with a beneficial risk profile...
Indeed PI and more receptive of those stocks when communicated by any 'regular' poster here, whose validity we have a basis for through past posting history - ultimately, we expect everyone to so their own independent research and invest accordingly.
That's the last of that
Company specific, BPC is looking very bullish indeed and is intensely followed by the investing community looking at such prospects. We know there'll be many looking at an opportune moment to Buy in as an initial entry or Buy back in.
Given the very strong support we saw on the previous dip, the likelihood that any share relinquishing by the Family Group will be well controlled over an extended timeframe.....and the bullishness underpinning the investment going forward.....the price is likely to advance into a new trading range in the coming few days.
Shaping up very well indeed and certainly wouldn't be surprised to see the 5-6p level by next week.
Regarding a Farm in deal, I was very hopeful of one previously but dont necessarily anticipate one now - pleased enough that we're funded for the drill with the existent financial structure, with further main expenditures at the tail end of the year.
I do however think we'll get much nearer term News re: some form of Partnership with Stenna, as the indications seem, imo.
Again, looking very good indeed.

strong buying
like the number of share buys currently coming in
Yes. Myself and Linton learned it was BP who kept BPC waiting. This was at the most recent presentation at the Chesterfield Mayfair.
Those Scouldrels!
At least we know they're still at the table, which certainly says something - or at least one other 'Super Major' is!
Bonum.
I did not get the impression that BP “were still at the table”
I’ll be surprised if we hear from them prior to spud.
My family have been in the oil industry for decades, mostly Esso/exxon.....I found ,that in general, BP upstream employees were a bit up their own ar$es... Anyway, I’m sure SP has a good relationship with old BP colleagues and can keep the dialogue ongoing...
looks to be selling around 2,90 when share price moves up
if stays at this level to shares cleared
when shares cleared then if moves up
can only watch and wait
I know a Super major (along with Majors) is still there Lallee andaccording to the company statements on such. I assumed it was the same party to the exclusivity agreement.
Possibly not and another party altogether.

Price looking buoyant around these levels and a well needed consolidation taking place.
It'll be interesting to see how the next leg up plays out and looking towards reasonable expectations of a much higher price level going forward towards drilling etc.
Not surprising it's a bit quieter here today with all the other small oilers rocketing. Shows that BPC is also moving up due a sector wide rerate after the virus crash.
Good news lined up. Agreed licence fees paid, Licence term extended to June 21, improved terms for funding reducing dilution, Stena exercising their option, allowing for a two well campaign and the farmout deal in the mix, although I expect Stena to be the farmout partner if they take an asset interest rather than an equity interest in BPC. Either way, improving the drill success with a two well drill reduces risk.
I also think we'll get an RNS re: Stena's increased interest!
That would see up good for 5p+ IMO.
