hxulcolrdoh = paid de-ramper. All of this is noise, 10 years time, let's see how this one fairs. I care not about the short term noise.
It is a shame @hxulcolrdoh that you make a valid point (about over promise and the clear scepticism of many investors as a result), but then ruin it with insults.
Your credibility has taken the same knock as overpromising Bushy !
@hxulcolrdoh be careful who you're calling out.
I have no problem with an alternative opinion. Its when d*ckhead like you claim to be the only opinion in town.
Makes no difference to me how long this takes. My money is in, its not going anywhere.
Don't know why you've suddenly picked my name out of the hat. Clearly have nothing better to do.
Get a life
In the meanwhile the market seems to have concurred that is equally underwhelmed.
Clowns like knutsfordnotary/codejunkie who can't stomach an alternative view will just have to wake up and smell the coffee. I'm sure in their own minds they think they are entertaining. For now I'll leave them to drool the drivel that they do.
HaleSpur as you say - Rome wasn't built in a day. Progress is being made though. Probably BMN are going to have to spend the next 12/24 months on probation while they rebuild credibility eg May 2019 (when I took an interest) they were talking of 'medium term' production 10,000 mtV p.a. Then at production of 3,000 mtV p.a. and they were claiming to be in the lower quartile of the cost curve @ < $18/kgV. Very attractive numbers if only they weren't complete fiction.
For the back burner for now.
hxulcolrdoh- Clearly an idiot deramper and as such in the green box . Better things to do than read his duplicity.
Good RNS . the plan is on track , even though slightly delayed by Covid.
Compliments to the BoD for the good progress made . Patience will be rewarded

Maybe some would have expected even more progress by now but should the company be worth 47% of what it was this time last year, in the middle of the pandemic? I think most on here would say no and so this is now a very strong buy.
Well even if everything you posted were true it would still suggest the share price is currently well undervalued:
Production is the same as last year but we now have a run rate of ~4000mtV for two quarters in a row suggesting the forecast for next year is easily achievable, especially as FM has stated he will under promise and over deliver going forward. We are also operating in a far stronger V environment to this time last year and are a year closer to the commissioning of the electrolyte plant. And yet the SP is less than half of what it was last year.
If by your theory we've only made minimal progress then at the very least we should be valued where we were last year, ~19p.
Wow, great sleuthing detective RazorShultz pmsl
Cindercone, you and hxulcolrdoh both seem to be fans of the word meh - are you even trying to hide it anymore?
And yet my posts frequently get more recommends than yours. Doesn't say much for your credibility does it?
I think Hlrumhsb is getting confused with the current SP and the business performance.
The SP is nowhere near where anyone wants it. However todays update is progress and Rome wasn’t built in a day.
If you are an investor then you should expect to hold for many many years as the greatest investors say.
By the same token, lying to investors and bigging up an RNS for no good reason only to see the SP retrace only ensures wet behind the ears investors sell and never come back. Better to just let people make their own mind up.
I would say we give a toss because new or inexperienced investors use these boards for research (as I did at the start) and negative postings on what is a fairly decent RNS puts them off and keeps not only the SP down, but the company from gaining funds of investment!
Just my opinion.

@Pdub
Is meeting expectations progress? Meh. Is paying debt progress? Meh. Like I said, nothing bad, which is something I suppose considering BMN's track record over last few years, but nothing exciting.
Would be nice to read an RNS one day that exceeds expectations. Explaining wtf Nikomorov is doing at BE would be a start.
How many same accounts am I replying to this morning?
If you have utmost confidence in BMN getting where you expect it to be, why would you give a toss about a poster trying to deceive? You give a toss because you're insecure and lack confidence in the company's goals. Rather than accept reality, you want to control the narrative and distort it.
Apart from that, nothing I or anyone else says, including you, will ever have a material impact on the share price, so you're completely wasting your time.
Cindercone I completely disagree with you.
BMN set out to stabilise production and control costs in 2021. Job done.
They wanted to start work on Electrolyte plant. Job done.
They wanted to refurb Kiln 3 at Vanchem. That is well underway and we now have a commissioning target of Q2 2022. Job done.
They also had to repay debts on Vanchem acquisition in Q4. Job done.
That is NOT underwhelming. That is solid progress to set up what I expect to be a better 2022 for the share price. Just to to get Duferco out of the way.
And hopefully BE stuff to follow.
No justification whatsoever for such blatant negativity. And that is my opinion.
Bashing people who criticise the company's operations does not show confidence in BMN, it shows a complete lack of confidence/fear.
The numbers are underwhelming and the RNS is flat, but at least there's nothing bad in there, which is what we've become used to.
I've been here a long time too AND I'm totally underwater, but, berating everything/everyone for your (whoever is) lack of investing "prowess" is bang out of order.

Solid update today, good progress being made. This was never going to move the SP, but shows stability, and with V prices rising I think H2 and 2023 could see us back to a respectful Valuation. Hold and switch off.
@hxulcolrdoh
Hopes don't float. You're either confident or you should sell. Why would you EVER just sit and hope
You're an idiot
A QUESTION TO ANYONE WHO HAS BEEN IN BMN 2yrs + (that includes me)
If I assert : "This company should not be were it currently is" then vote up if you agree
- Production marginally down - meh
- Production circa 3,600 mtV - meh
- Production cash cost ~$18 -> ~24 - meh
- Next years production expected to be up %20 but we will have to wait to the back end of the year for evidence - meh
I reiterate C/C++
They do seem to be making some progress and relatively speaking they are making better progress as relatively / historically speaking they made poor progress.
Sorry for stating the obvious. I'm sure it will be shouted down by the defensive trolls of the BMN board who think that everyone who does not see things with their rose tinted glasses is an idiot/kn*bhead
Then tell us exactly what you expected to be in the update for you to be more positive?
For the record I'm LONG / underwater.
It never ceases to amaze me how deluded defensive my fellow shareholders are.
This company should not be were it currently is. I still harbor hopes that it will get its act together.
Well, if you're not happy with it @hxulcolrdoh, just sell.
You and the other ball achers. It seems you would rather be invested and down the company - those two things don't go together. No one in their right mind invests then does their best to mute a good update......
Which leaves two options
1. not invested but have an interest in deramping...if so, how much per post?
2. Short...hope you have your big boy pants on
kn*bhead!
