At last, a positive RNS that has been thoughtfully composed.
they already did a rubbish raise last year.
Good news with the grant today. 2 year project though will require imo more cash than 350k watch the finances here. The RF is not enough to cover the bioplastics div now (0.4m) and nor will a 550k order. They will need more and with so few shares raise might not be a bad thing. Revs are down 1m and cash is down at 1.2m.
My orders will help especially if up front payments but scaling up also costs.
Imo get a decent raise out the way then this will move forward significantly over time.

Great news... big boost for us this grant and an injection of 5% of market cap in cash without strings is fantastic. Good news for the world not just us !
I bought today of the back of the article by the legend himself MS. It was on my radar before and it would have been good to buy sub 200 but I'll take my average of 216. Easy bagger and long term I think multiples of this SP. GLA
First time buyer of this name today at 211p . Malcolm Stacey of ************* wrote a piece on the name today mentioning the recent order and a previous share high of 650p fyi. I would imagine it will attract a few other new entrants .
yea.. market cap is like 6 million and they just had a 550k order - I would say that'd pretty serious stuff
plus - this is a bio degradable single use coffee pod so we are likely to get further repeat orders !?
There'll be a chicken and egg situation though. We can't scale up until there is some demand and the demand won't come in until we can come down in price by scaling up. So, being a large order this is a big step.
I'm actually more concerned about the environmental credentials of the product if anything. Degradeable in industrial composting environments is actually a bit rubbish (no pun intended). How many will make into industrial composters after use? Goes to show how hard this science is I suppose. Hopefully this is still enough of an incentive for others to jump on board.
Yes it is good news but the time to produce is too slow. The BoD are not capitalising on the tech here. The no of shares held and the mcap are a huge trading attraction and the product lines could be awesome. They are just so slow and don’t articulate the scope.
A takeover here would be the best option to force some pace and offload the RF stuff. The company is just not able to get going organically.
All that said I so love the environmental credentials and imo the sp is oversold. If I had some spare cash I’d be back in as it could go to £4 relatively quickly. Sub £1.50 was well oversold.
If you are buying it may be worth asking your broker to deal OTC to beat the spread.
GL to all.

What’s the relevance of the article? Reusable is different to biodegradable. I think what the market needs is something they don’t need to carry around with them. Thoughts?
This is really good news but I notice that the order forms the basis for the year's financial expectations so is no change from guidance. It's more about proving the product. If Biom can take a nice percentage of the US coffee pod marfket it will be huge.
Bought. That RNS is amazing. The future. Tiny mkt cap. Big deals
Its only 10% of the mcap. Client name not mentioned. Im fed up of this and well underwater. Biom should be doing covid masks. Its not a huge order compared to market cap im afraid
This is a modest, but significant order for biodegradable coffee pods. I can see this company will go somewhere. Tempted to buy - but with that spread?
Yet another boring RNS.
all paul has to do is one SYM style rns
Paul mines is asleep. SYM announced a anti microbrial surface and they are up almost 120% today. Biom should hand their heads in shame.
Biom mention plastic pollution driving sea change in market approach.
SYM Symphony Env. 26mill as a comparison.

Thing is Coffee is one of the worlds biggest markets the US, so for Biom to be valued at 6mill just on current progress with Coffee sales in the US still shows an undervalue. you would have thought someone making coffee pods and packagaing would be worth alot more than 6mill
Single serve coffee makers are also known as one cup coffee makers and give the lovers of coffee a fresh cup whenever they desire, with no mess to clean up, one cup at a single time. Single cup coffee servers are ideal for those consumers who like to have a single cup of coffee from time to time. They are also ideal for gourmet coffee lovers, but don’t have the time to grind beans and make a full pot of coffee. Such type of single serve coffee makers are also suitable for consumers who don’t want any mess to clear after having their coffee and when there are just few persons having coffee in a household. However, single cup coffee servers can only brew limited type of coffee beans and the cost of each cup of coffee will be more. However, the popularity of single serve coffee servers is increasing due to the convenience they offer to the consumers. The global single serve coffee market is slated to touch a volume growth of about 98,900 thousand units in the year 2026 and grow at a robust CAGR during the assessment period.

VISTA, Calif., July 15, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- NuZee, Inc. (NASDAQ: NUZE) ("NuZee" or "the Company"), a specialty coffee company and a leading U.S. single serve coffee producer and co-packer, today announced that it has signed a co-packing agreement with Golden Ratio, an Austin-based startup that roasts gold coffee. Under the terms of the agreement, NuZee will prepare and custom package Golden Ratio's coffee into single serve "tea bag style" coffee pouches as it received orders from Golden Ratio. Production at NuZee's facility in Vista, California commenced in May 2020.
Teaming with NuZee, Golden Ratio is poised to disrupt the coffee category with a craft beverage that—true to its name—is golden. By roasting its beans at lower temperatures and for a longer period of time, Golden Ratio created "gold coffee," which tastes like tea while having the caffeine kick you expect from coffee. This new coffee is also five times less acidic than regular coffee and can easily be brewed hot or cold thanks to the tea bag style format provided by NuZee. Its luxuriously smooth flavor is keto-friendly with zero sugar or additives.
At launch, Golden Ratio is offering two flavored varieties, Vanilla Coconut and Chai Spiced, as well as an original flavor designed with intermittent fasters in mind. Vanilla Coconut is blended with natural vanilla flavors and toasted coconut for a subtle sweetness and smooth finish. Chai is blended with traditional flavors like cardamom, cinnamon, allspice and ginger for a cup of comfort that's familiar and refreshing. Original has a very subtle, nutty flavor that's easy on taste buds and digestion, particularly important to those who morning fast or are looking for a gentler coffee that still provides ample caffeine.
"Golden Ratio sought to create the ideal balance between flavor, convenience and sustainability," said Clark Nowlin, Co-Founder and CEO of Golden Ratio. "NuZee was the perfect partner to help us accomplish this with eco-friendly, single-serve coffee pouches. We are excited to continue working together to help our customers start their day the Golden way."
According to a recent Nielsen survey, 48% of Americans are looking to change their consumption habits to reduce their impact on the environment. Meanwhile, demand for single serve coffee, which tends to come in unnecessary single-use plastic pods, is booming. NuZee, the largest U.S. co-packer of alternative single serve coffee formats serves brands that cater to environmentally-conscious customers who also prioritize convenience.
"Now more than ever we are committed to supporting independent coffee roasters like Golden Ratio in their quest to bring eco-friendly and flavorful brews to coffee lovers," said Travis Gorney, NuZee Chief Marketing Officer. "Manufactured at our production facility in Vista, California, we grin
