Would be nice to see 370 over the coming weeks but I'm not sure if it will get there, fingers crossed!
Must be some news about to break here or a big buyer.
Steady rise all week and a spike up today, but nobody cares?
It all looked like stating the bleeding obvious to me, but you never know how the market is going to react to these announcements. I just skimmed it and felt my eyes becoming heavy.
Isn't it what was in the end of July statement already there's nothing new I think. Not sure if the September agm was mentioned then. I didn't read it all at the time as it was a long read :-(
Geez, it's going to take me a while to get through this one. Very BAB. Where do they get these names from...
May be a bit hasty.. I'm hanging on for a bit longer... Profits a profit
Sorry 342 today morning.
I had them similar at 264, but I sold them 332. I think it will be too risky to forget about shorters.
Perhaps hold until Government approves disposal of helicopter business. Then maybe some profit taking and stop losses to avoid the bad taste if there is a reversal. I'm tempted to see if it gets back to circa £5. Have fun with your profits.
I'm in since 265p and my view is to enjoy the ride. Only good news ahead but it will never gilo up in a straight line
I've bought them at last bottom. Is it worth to sell now?
It's looks like all steam is out.
THIS is a great disposal. Never really been part of Babcoxk. Good business but running out of steam. The next 6 months is going to be an interesting watch. £5 May 2022 very possible. This team is going to under promise and over deliver in the mid term.
Looking more attractive. I now see this recovering like Capita and lots of punters will arrive to ride it up.
Great strategy, with that c. £300m in the bank debt is under control straight away!! Should give boost to the share price back to 400p!!
Bab**** International Group PLC Sale of Frazer-Nash Consultancy

BAB is definitely my worst buy of all time. My average is 627, so I regard being down by around 50% now, as something of a triumph! It’s a good reminder of why it is important to be diversified across a wide range of sectors and companies. Thankfully, my successes far outweigh my ‘dogs’.
More on JP morgan's note - www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/957311/bab****s-new-management-have-credible-turnaround-plan-says-jp-morgan-957311.html
If you had asked me what my worst buy was a year ago I would have said BAB after buying at 290. About one month later it sh*t the bed to 220. Nearly threw up but instead I doubled down and brought the average to about 250. Nearly cashed the other month when it hit 350 but decided to hold (stupidly). Also near sold before results but held again (stupidly). Should have bought more after results as it’s rebounded massively. Will most likely sell it soon but was able to turn a bad buy into something pretty good.
Definitely my worst buy, having held it for over a year now, but I think it's finally starting to look good. Despite MASSIVE objections to doing so, having sworn at this ocmpany for a long time, I might even average-down my holding now.
Still haven't had news of disposals and such like but it's already recovered to pre results price.
Good recovery of the SP. Hope I haven't put the mockers on but looking good
Definitely an overreaction as 90% of re****s were already known! JP Morgan raiseed their target price to 400p from 350p today, expect more of the same (and positive SP reaction) over the coming weeks. ;-)
Interesting that SP is almost back to where it was before the latest update which caused a 16% drop.
One of my worst buys I'm afraid, but I believe it will come good. After failing to cash out in Jan 20, I'm holding on.
I think that a few cash rich vultures have been spotted ........
Fears of it heading towards the £2 mark since the results announcement have been cooled and now looks a strong possibility of getting towards £3 soon.. Let's hope.!!
