NeverMadeABadInv, I agree !! I have enough invested in the Defence sector - BAB, BA. and RR. - so won't top up. All part of my risk management !!

Get them whilst they're cheap. These wars aren't going to stop any time soon.
Just top up and get them whilst they're cheap. They're worth £5.24 at a minimum according to most forecasts.

Nick Cunningham, managing partner at equity research firm Agency Partners, said: ‘The reality is that European rearmament is only just getting going, and these stocks have a long way to go yet in terms of growth.’
NeverMadeABadInv, you were ominously missing from this board today, when the Defence sector was hit by a manipulative (criminal ?) article from Goldman Sachs, after your "buy buy buy" post on 4th April ?!!
making over 50% profit since buying these shares. they're amazing. bab**** is amazing and going to keep getting better with all these wars going on. lots of russians in the north sea too and we need to keep them away too.
amazing future outlook. amazing strategic changes in the past. great pipeline of projects.
why wouldn't you buy buy buy!?
Was wondering should I sell a slice of BAB soon as it's in a resistance range, but today's Israeli strike on Iran's Embassy in Syria convinces me to wait for a higher price !! Anything can happen in the Middle East, or indeed in Ukraine, so even though tempting to sell, as I've decent gains to date, best to leave it climb more. What do you think ?
Totally agree stansmoney. If next trading update is better than expected then the broker forecasts will all be upgraded and BAB will go up another leg !!
Took another slice today at 527p target set after last slice 525p.
10 Analysts mentioned on 19 February expecting the price to increase to 523p has not changed as of yesterday.
I've waited a long time for a BAB blast so I'm just sitting back quietly determined to enjoy the run. I think it's got a way to go yet.
Sign of a good share! BB with all the chatter on are most times full of bu11 s4ite.
Surprised this BB is so quiet when BAB share price is firing on all cylinders !!

what makes bab**** international group (bckiy) a good fit for 'trend investing'
march
https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/what-makes-bab****-international-group-bckiy-a-good-fit-for-trend-investing
Early last Friday 08:02 BAB shot up to 524.50p, then reversed to 504.59 by 08:05 !! It then jumped to 518p by 08:26 and from there drifted down and sideways till close. A fund buying early on to 524.50p which would be a great sign ?
If the unthinkable happens as per the article the EU will be glad to get weapons from wherever they can buy them. Hopefully it won't come to that
This Eu threat to curtail investment in U.K. arms mfrs could be a spanner in the works.

Bab should be due a few ratings soon from the clever broker people. Hard to see anything but positive ones.
Upwards and onwards !!
Should have said it’s being frozen. No more accrual.
How does a company cancel a DB scheme? Or is that not what you really mean.
I predict it will go up a lot more when they cancel the DB pension scheme very soon
10 Analysts expect the price to increase by 10% to 523p 9% above my 480p slice.
Bep 319.2792p with ( D )
Sliced more today got 480p
On 8/2/24 could not get 467p then 475p all last week thank God in hindsight .
That’s the Rolls Royce target…it should say 5.70 from 5.50…
today
jefferies raises bab**** international price target to 390 (310) pence - 'buy'
must be a typo or historical rating issued in error surely, why have a buy rating if target is only 390p ?!!!
Norway Intel recently:
Russia gaining upper hand in Ukraine war - Norway intel
Russia is gaining the advantage in the war in Ukraine owing to a greater number of troops and materiel supplied by China, North Korea and other countries, Norway's intelligence service has warned.
Presenting its annual risk report along with other Norwegian security services, the head of the military intelligence unit Nils Andreas Stensønes said Ukraine would need "extensive" Western military aide to turn the situation around.
"In this war, Russia is currently in a stronger position than it was a year ago and is in the process of gaining the advantage," Mr Stensønes told reporters.
He said Russia "could mobilise around three times more troops than Ukraine", that "Moscow is tackling sanctions better than expected", and its industry can now produce enough munitions, combat vehicles, drones and missiles to enable its troops to "maintain their war effort all year."
Russia is also receiving military support from North Korea, Iran, Belarus and China, he added.
A tank firing at Bakhmut where fighting between Ukrainian and Russian forces continues
China had not supplied arms, but "machines, vehicles, electronics, and spare parts" needed by Russia's arms industry.
"Extensive Western weapons aid would be needed for Ukrainian forces to be able to defend themselves and regain the initiative in the conflict," Mr Stensønes said.
He highlighted Ukraine's requests for munitions, long-distance weapons, air defences, tanks and fighter jets.
Norway has, together with Denmark and the Netherlands, agreed to provide Ukraine with the F-16 fighter jets it has requested from its allies.
"Norway and Europe must be ready to take more responsibility to ensure their own security and that of their allies," Norwegian defence minister Bjørn Arild Gram said.
The US has been Ukraine's main military donor since Russia's invasion in February 2022.
However, Congress has failed to agree on new aid and the prospect of Donald Trump returning to the White House have put greater responsibility on Europe to step up.
This might turn the lights on for the dozy European so-called 'leaders' and BAB, BA., etc... to benefit ?
