"You keep suggesting I have multiple accounts. You and your BMN cronies (aaah them were the days, "
Funny - I thought you only joined the board (conveniently when AVCT got popular) on 29th April 2020 - just one day before Wyndrum....Hmm and a couple before Rorkesdrift....Hmmmm
quod erat demonstrandum
Oh, I don’t realise his lordship was referring to me below. What an ignorant idiot. The publication of that criteria was months ago, the date on that link is irrelevant. I was the person that posted the original consultation document on here so that’s a bit awkward. Keep up… you’re months behind. Perhaps upgrade your donkey to a faster model.
You keep suggesting I have multiple accounts. You and your BMN cronies (aaah them were the days, how is BMN going? As well as EQT?) cried to the admins over a year ago and were proven to be idiots. Still as insanely paranoid as ever, bless you and your donkey.
Thwack, thwack and thrice thwack!
Actually clinical samples should now be well in excess of the desired requirements.
I expect that Avacta will be running an independent large scale (10k samples) validation which will blow all competition out of the water for good.
It's also in the rns...
Great idea Zoom
Just for once, could we possibly have a don't bother with the NDN day? He's on here all day, everyday, it's relentless & rather pointless.
@Wiggly - I'm assuming Egg-on-his-face is simply the green boxes I have on screen - but don't worry amongst his many shortcomings is an inability to do simple maths or actually understand written English.
Ophidian (p.s. Bin him it makes for a much easier read)
PresAl has spoken of ongoing dialogue, the additional CV being undertaken will have been been specifically for this reason, they’ll be more than aware of what is needed. Their ability to release confirmation of the tests performance against the delta variant (note - they used patient samples confirmed by PCR and didn’t wait for PHE) shows that they’re already on top of getting the additional data required and are actively carrying out further CV studies.
The baby beta has a lot of disorders, so let’s be kind, signpost Mind and hope he gets the help he so clearly desperately needs.
NDN - AS stated weeks ago that we were actively increasing our clinical sample size, thus to continue to state our sample sze is too small is missleading. You do not know the current sample size.
NDN, Avacta are regularly validating the test against new variants, I’m struggling to see why they can’t collect all this data sets and put together a dossier for approval the way I see it is Avacta are going way above the requirements and a couple of extra testing numbers required won’t affect anything but you can think what you like!!!

TBF it does seems we need a larger sample size or am I reading it wrong....
Sample size of clinical positive samples Please attach and highlight relevant reference in IFU and publications Automatic reject if <100 Minimal acceptable number is 100, desired number is greater than or equal to 150
Sample size for negative clinical samples) Please attach and highlight relevant reference in IFU and publications Automatic reject is <150 Minimal acceptable number is 150, desired number is 250
Or travel home from Ibiza with your positive girlfriend simply by scanning in your negative barcode imho her phone,Whole process is a joke…..
Look at the date - sorry the "Ophidian Alarm" woke you from your slumbers - back to your other Avatar for a while
@Bubba....... Porton Down

We knew all of this as it’s been previously published. The baby beta posts the sample requirements every 5 minutes. Anyway, good to see it up and running. Let’s hope they’ve already completed the additional CV and are first in the queue. Incidentally, the threshold for workplace / event screening is shockingly low and bizarrely specific. Perhaps Innova handed out some brown envelopes so they can sneak in. AffiDx should qualify for clinical testing - meaning they’ll be the number 1 choice in all settings given their competitive price. Domination of the private market awaits…
Thanks.
“ DHSC will prioritise certain applications where necessary…”
What is missing @ophidian?
How nice of HMG to offer a discounted price for the desktop review!! That'll help to offset the millions they've cost us so far... ;-)
£6k bargain price.
Surely Avacta are well down this road now and arguing with them as to why they keep failing the best test in the world?
Great spot!
Frozen pig samples no longer required! Material news for AVCT!!!!!!
Anyone notice what is (critically) missing now ?
Ophidian
Thanks Ophidian, interesting post. Looks like progress towards clarity and who knows, perhaps even transparency, in the test approval process.
