Mahoosive... Id say we looking 5 to 10 quid in 3 months
Drift,
I’m not to sure what you mean but just let me tell you I was in NCYT from 90p and sold just over £5 it’s in my history so I know about this field.
My two concerns here are how accurate it proves to be, if it’s below 95% I don’t think governments will back it
And my other concern is if they can make a instant test why dint our government push it to production it would save them billions.
Sometimes I think it sounds to good to be real.
Ade thats a slight exgeration on my part, its test 150 4/5 times today, dont see it holding much longer, it was near 190 close on friday before thev insider trading plaid it down tuesday wensday, but it was still fighting hard all through there assault
After this morning placing the response has been pretty dam impressive personaly, the way sir Alister has plaid it very clever i would suggest hes about to ignite the after burners with his own sustained assault but thats only my oppinion dyor
To be or not to be that is the question
We don’t know the answer to this question but we are invested in this because we believe Avacta will nail this
Don’t forget this is not a one trick pony they have other potential revenue streams behind the test itself.
Ultimately it is our individual choice whether to back this horse and to what extent!
Last bets please
Ade its not just about the corona test, it has massive upside potential with new cancer treatment theraputics thats holding all the meat
It’s also the ratio of return to loss which makes this exciting
Ade1234 - Because inititally the grants went to companies who had mates in Government. ODX, GDR, all had grants, mentions at briefings, and so on.
I'll say that for AVCT, they're the gifted council house kid who kept on plugging away outside the spotlight and made it to Oxford.
As for whether they can deliver - well, if we knew that for sure then we'd all have our houses on it. As we don't, we make our best guesses based on our research and we play the AIM game to the tune of what we can realistically afford. Some, unfortunately, will play with more than that.
For an AIM share, this one is a lot more secure today than it was yesterday. And getting in tomorrow morning will be a challenge for anyone not currently holding. I personally don't like how today played out but I think even the staunchest deramper would struggle to argue there's money here at 150.
How high it can go - well unfortunately the only way to know for sure is hindsight.
For me it is all about one thing or I will just be stuck here for years.
But yea I agree the reward could be massive.
Evening Adele, thanks for sharing your concerns. I don’t think it needs to be 95%. Quidel’s antigen test was 80% and added billions to their share price. The test is for mass screening, if it stops 80% of infected people spreading Covid it will be a huge success. PCR testing is currently worse than 80% currently due to poor swabs. I think we’ll end up with a test over 90% personally, but time will tell. Yes, it’s a risk and a valid one.
The second concern isn’t really a concern. Awacta are working with Cytiva as fast as possible, the govt being involved wouldn’t change a thing. Awacta spoke to PHE months ago, the govt are aware and are starting to talk about pregnancy style tests. You’re correct though, govts globally will back this as spending money on Awacta’s test will be a lot cheaper than the long term economic damage that’s being caused currently.
It’s about risk and reward. If you’re really an experienced AIM expert you should be more than aware and capable of balancing them to make a decision. All the best.
PL75 thanks, and I was thinking that the accuracy would be addressed by doing mutable tests instead of one test and waiting 48 hours then another test you have lost almost one week.
To be honest this will be world changing if they deliver, I can see people having 5 test per day for entry work and peace of mind.
It doesn’t really work like that with an antigen test, you’ll either have enough of the virus present to be detected or you won’t. There’s an argument for daily testing, then you’ll discover it as soon as possible, certainly sooner than waiting for antibodies or for symptoms to show. That’s one of the great advantages of this kind of test.
I think someone left the gate open, and a herd of complete ****s has been released so we have a shepherd amongst us, failing that maybe someone with a shotgun !
Sorry i understand that but what I mean is society will expect you to maybe prove you are Covid free at time of test.
The problem I see with lab testing is the time lag by the time you get results back you could have contacted Covid so you’re always playing catch up.
Mr hilarious
How about you prove your points
What's with all these posters appearing today and yesterday with 1 post each to their names?
I’m not very ‘knowledge‘, but I can read so that helps. So in turn...
1. Covid isn’t going anywhere, in fact it’s likely to stay and become seasonal
2. I’m sure those scientists have been checking behind the sofa, but I don’t think a vaccine will be found soon
3. I’m only aware of 1 competitor and it’s an inferior product. Even if there are competitors, what did you expect, 100% of the market.
So, I respectfully disagree with your points, even the 25p suggestion is ludicrous now. Awacta raised £48m today. Get your carer to calculate that per share.
Hear they come again that time of night i post ******
Perfect Mr H! Just in time for the results of the cancer trials. Oh yeah, Awacta aren’t a one trick pony, unlike you.
Twat seriously go on make a fool of your self ill play, at recent burn rate 48mill is over ten years cash, so if its gone by 2021
We got some serious reaserch done, are you keeping up, hold on i think i hear your mummy calling, she wants more of last night big boy
