I thought it was good but have largely given up trying to talk about this share. I’ve tried quite a bit on X/Twitter but it’s like shouting into the void. If/when we get major positive progress in Zambia, it’ll flip in an instant of course!
Anybody got any ideas aas to what caused this to jump 17.5% on the 28th Dec?
What was possibly even stranger was that there was no reaction on this board to that move.
My excuse for not posting was that I was travelling back from the west country on a journey that took about 9 hrs.....
Couple of larger trades today bigger than I have seen since I took a small position after the placing.
There is definitely scope for a buy-out here with how things are moving in that part of the world
Yep after the Panama debacle FQM are going to need some fresh targets
First Quantum losing Panama could make their African assets look like taking a shot on. Market cap at £5mil and hardly any shares in issue might make this an easy target. They're gonna need copper.
Been dead because Colin isn't getting on with the job just like at GLR.
Need Colin to actually get something moving there. Been far too slow given what was said about this asset when Afp listed. No wonder the SP is where it is.
Been dead for weeks on here and in volume. At least someones bought a few today.
Feels like the first slight raise in a while. I am really hoping this can be a good performing share in 2024.
Interesting roast today -Kev and Phil threw their hat in the ring with AFP as their top “blue sky” pick over next 18 months.
Need some Ngombo update as this gives us time to make the most of Zambia (and Kalahari)
See below from Flipper56 0n GLR chat - The AFP and XTR licenses are on the line between that Bemetals Pangeni resource and Kamoa in the DRC.

Thanks for posting and to Colin and the Roasties. It does sound promising and at least FQ are putting in some serious drilling with 3 rigs. As pointed out, this is district wide so could also benefit XTR and GLR. Fingers crossed.

Remains promising. If the Roasties do a podcast with Colin, can you ask how it all integrates with XTR and GLR licences.
Great news about FQ exercising option. Seems like the next update will be a big one in terms of exploration results
Thanks, both

I think that as a JV Partner, AFP should receive its own detailed Report.
How much shareholders see, will probably depend on what FQM will allow AFP to reveal.
Pretty sure Colin would be keen to reveal progress of project and the drilling results.
It’s on the First Quantum website announced 25 September, they’re being released 24th October. They’re having a conference call and a webcast the following day.
Gameangler, where do you get 24 October?
Catbert
the markets are just terrible atm, especially on aim
just about everythings,making new lows
Very thin volumes of late. This is on a pregnant pause? Hopefully news to come. Not sure what to make of price action as so little is happening. Anyone got any thoughts about what's happening here?
1.65?....could be the low,near az dammit..imo
lets see
FQM Results report to be released on Tuesday October 24th.
AF should be getting results of air core and diamond drilling results.
CB last comments were.......
'Colin Bird, Executive Chairman, commented: "The discoveries made during the last quarter and the resulting report are ground-breaking for our partners and AFP shareholders. The apparent confirmation of the extension of the Western Foreland and the presence of key vectors possibly consistent with Kamoa-Kakula style of mineralisation is an exciting discovery and potentially paves the way for the delineation of the type of copper resource that could be transformational. This new opportunity coupled with the extensive surface mineralisation on both of our licences focused on eight primary targets with a combined strike length exceeding 30km together with the discovery of high-grade cobalt mineralisation merely amplifies the overall potential of this JV Agreement. We look forward to the next reporting round to provide shareholders with further updates based on the drilling and geophysics scheduled by FQM"
