Yes, still alive and kicking! I only have MTA and RRL, total 87% down :( with RRL it has potential with a very good upside. Problem is, the CEO doesn't deliver; dilution after dilution and nothing for the shareholders. From 25p to 1.8p and my av. is 15.9p some guys are worse off. It will take 'hundreds' possibly 'thousand's of years for RRL to deliver any value to the likes of us (bit like AFE). All we get is promises of Jam tomorrow.......well and truly Jammed in. Whatever happened to Dutwa? I've lost track now. We had a similar load of hype about Puntland, an Oil Rich area in Somalia, but no drills revealed anything. I wouldn't recommmend it for now, although at the low price it is, you should be ok.
I'm still alive, hope ur2.Good luck with your Photography.Investing remains hard, not just here.Though gold shares offer Hope perhaps once the US stutters a bit more..GL
Why do you think that? As far as I know, we are not expecting any news in the short term. But, I would love to be corrected.
suspect this could do a penny before year end with a breakout by 2nd week Nov - certainly anything around 0.23-0.27 looks a no-brainer punt ... On me radar ...
lol... you've been on every share on the chat boards to get people to here... where's the evidence?
You put a lot of time and effort in. Just need some facts now
Smokin, he can't say what kind of rumours because there are none. He is ramping.
can you confirm what kind of rumours
How much cash do they have in the kitty?
From their website, Corporate Heading. About Us African Eagle Resources is a UK-incorporated company traded on London AIM (AFE) and Johannesburg AltX (AEA). The Company recently disposed of substantially all of its subsidiaries but retains a 10% free carried interest in the Dutwa nickel project in Tanzania. The interest is non-diluting until $20m of spending has occurred on exploration and development. The Company also has a shareholding of approximately 14.4% in Elephant Copper Ltd, a BVI registered company, with interests in copper projects in Zambia.
How much you got in here mate? Whats your average? Do AFE hold shares in some other company?
The board of directors recently changed. The new board appear to have a lot of experience in mining and raising finance for mining projects. Also, Mark Parker, our previous MD, is a non-executive director of a company called Coburg Group Plc, who have invested quite a lot recently and no doubt this will lead to his return to AFE in one form or another. There was a discounted share placement recently to raise equity which will ensure that the company has working capital for the short term.
Well something iffy is going on and it smells of MM shenannigans to me. My phone app shows it dropping from 36.5 to 32 then shooting up to 38 within an hour and yet there are no trades that would correspond to this behaviour. I was in but got fed up of the lack of communication from the then BOD. Is this board any better? Where are we getting the operating costs from as we should have run out of money by now??
10p or 1p??? If its 10p then I am back in but I'd like to see something more than hope?
have u actually researched afe the bod stung the pis ater spending millions of their had earned it sold its golden nugget for a measly 100k worth of shares wont trust these guys
Sorry mate, saw your post as I was leaving solg. Haven't had time at the mo, will definitely have a look today with a view to invest first thing. Appreciate you bringing it to my attention, good luck.
Ok, will do a bit of research, good luck.
I like your enthusiasm, but why are you so confident the price is going to jump so sharply?
What news awaits, you got my attention on solg
Whilst I am pleased with the restructuring of the board, the return of M.P. and the success of the recent equity raising and whilst I am hopeful that work is being done behind the scenes to secure financing for BFS for Dutwa, until we have further news, I don't see us reaching 1p. Unless you know something that we don't?
Someone's latched on to this from MTA , but if MOGO is still alive and well here, maybe he know's something about any tie-in. I think it is a 'vicious rumour' that may amount to nothing, Two totally Different companies. Ahd there been, this would have increase by at least 10% already. MTA has gone up by 13%. Enough hype would probably send this up to well over 1p, maybe 2p
I've been in here previously. Hope you get your 1-2p.
I share your pain porg! Was sat on massive profit at one stage, let it ride and here we are...but, yes feel things can grow from here to at least cover some of my losses. Hindsight springs to mind here and wished I had cashed in a bit more than I did, but reckon things can only progress, especially with some of the faces back on board, notebly Mr Parker.
