Net cash inflow £4.1 million (2015: £4.0 million) some seriously good cash generation!!!
It would be good to see it burst through 500p decisively
Profit-taking - it happens regularly and keeps sp below 500p
as I am mot aware of any negative news is purely "Brexit mood " to be blamed for this sell-off?
Just keeps going!!
SMALL CAP IDEAS: The march of technology in the automotive sector is only going to be a boon for AB Dynamics By IAN LYALL, PROACTIVE INVESTORS, FOR THISISMONEY.CO.UK PUBLISHED: 14:54, 23 November 2015
AB Dynamics plc - Full year results for the year to 31 August 2015 WED, 18 NOV 2015 12:35AM http://www.brrmedia.com/event/140757/tim-rogers Tim Rogers, Managing Director of AB Dynamics, discusses the company's full year results which were above market expectations, with revenues up 19.3% to £16.5m and operating profit up 41% to £3.7m.
Published on Nov 16, 2015 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gaZ2XfnWlns AB Dynamics (LON:ABDP) CEO Tim Rogers tells Proactive Investors he sees regional growth coming from China and notes that traditional markets in Japan and Germany are increasing their market spend. "In fact R&D spending by the automotive companies is at an all time high" he said. Rogers said the firm's market is quite niche, operating inside the automotive testing market. "You wont find any of our products on a vehicle but will you will find our products used to test and develop vehicles" he said.
quality company! great results out today!
Got out at a nice profit but may well go back in again.
If you believe the VW issues will have a positive effect on ABD's business I suggest you research further into what the company actually does. If anything the potential pull back in spending in R&D will effect the company.
I am gambling that they do get a whole lot of new business and that the earnings they do announce are spectacular and even better than might be factored into the last couple of days rise.
Probably due to recalling 11 million VW cars to have their electronics fixed. Bound to pick up some of that. Share Centre also tipped it yesterday.
A very nice rise today. Not a lot of news I have found so far other than FY earnings to be better than expected.
See growth for this as both VW and Conti invest in UK auto R&D.
http://www.mira.co.uk/news-and-events/2014-(1)/december/mira-launches-europe%E2%80%99s-first-independent-dynamic-s nice to see the companies flag ship product regarded so highly by industry experts.
At 171p / with a mc of £28.7m ... Historic PE ratio is 13.1 - slightly below average for market, probably well below average for the sector Yield is 1.46% - lousy tbh but oh well at least there is one TNW equates to £10.34m, so roughly 36% of the mc - rather good Historic EV/EBIT of 10.1 - above average Rev was 14%, and PBT up 43% up on prior year - above average All in all, and without knowing anything about the company & its prospects itself, this looks like it's slightly cheap. Thus I probably need to do more research to ascertain whether it's worth me buying in or not ....
RNS out..
Bought in this morning. Been watching for a long time......
nice statement!
Very chunky buys!!
Good day rob229 I have done some fairly extensive research into the sector and hopefully can pass on some useful info to fellow investors. You mentioned competitors, in the robot market abd seem to be the dominant force however notable competitors are vehico (German based) and stahle. ABD has a technical edge and a user base that makes them the preferred choice. In the SPMM market MTS is the main competitor K&C machines is only a small arm of their business. As for future potential of the company automotive r&d spend is at an all time high, new product division of ADAS targets is in it's infancy with ABD leading the way with its soft crash targets major growth potential. Currently I feel the share price is at the right level but has the potential to grow if new product lines take off.
Great comment there Rivaldo. just wondering which stock do you think has potential to grow?
Good day to all on Saturday, 23 November 2013. I am rather new to this company. I imagine that there are competitors in its sector, but I do not know who those competitors might be. From my perspective, ABDP offers a terrific product. Anything that bears an important relationship to automotive safety has significant appeal. I realize that consumers, i.e. individual buyers of automobiles, may not always be keen on spending extra money in order to maximize safety, but the manufacturers are keen to enhance the safety of their offerings. I am not surprised that our shares rallied yesterday after a couple of weeks of consolidation. With regard to the rise, the limited public float would seem to be a contributing factor. I am writing from across the pond. I am very interested in the thoughts of others who may be invested here. I see on this board the acronym DYOR. (In my part of the world, I see more often DYODD, Do your own due diligence; but the meaning is about the same.) Surely, I encourage any potential investors in ABDP shares to proceed cautiously and in recognition of either acronym. Good luck to all in the coming week. rob
