Proposed Placing to raise up to £45.1 million
Mon, 20th May 2019 07:00
RNS Number : 4814Z
AB Dynamics PLC
20 May 2019
does that mean that after announcing intention to raise the capital they raised it at the end of the day ???? So it is done ???
Agreed. Its a great British success story. I just hope it doesn't attract the attention of one of the big boys and we get taken out early. This is a buy, hold and reap the benefits.
Nothing better than a company with clear direction and getting rapid buy in from investors to raise funds show how they feel the same.
Slight (expected) drop, but great expectations now (to quote Mr Dickens).
Perhaps this is the reason for it. https://www.sharesmagazine.co.uk/news/market/6406502/Broker-Forecast-Liberum-Capital-issues-a-broker-note-on-AB-Dynamics-Plc
Glad , to see you back, obviouisly, you feel this company is very well worth supporting, as I do. The transport industry, buses, trains, etc. is going through a revolution, and I am pleased the company has a new CEO, Dr Routh, who seems to have settled in very well. He and Mr Best may well drive us (Pun loosely intended) into a great enterprise beyond current expectations. ----- Yours, Max.
I have noted and ignored the various IC recommendations for selling and am now 75% up here. Have been investing as and when I can over last 18 months or so . . .
Another article in IC recommending 'Sell'. Potentially gives another buying opportunity. Fantastic niche company.
quite chunky .
Even better than expected and hoped for.
Onwards and upwards - cracking investment.
Excellent set of results again.
Regards C8.
On reflection I think you might well be right, Ale saying useless and meaning the newspaper. I just don't see why people can't be more specific about whom they are talking to make sure he is well understood, but poeple have to express themselves but a little more clearer please . ----- Yours, Max.
I might be wrong but I think he was referring to Investors Chronicle when he said useless.
Regards C8.
Was your latest post an outporing of frustration, hardly I would have thought. Then perhaps you should mind the pitfalls of "Instant Decision Making" unless the urgency you felt was overwhelming, and, in your conclusion, you had to say "USELESS".
if you stay with this chat line perhaps you may learn to moderate your language: to condemn is easy, but to do the work is often well outside most poeple's competence. Sorry if I might sound like a disciple of the company but having watched their efforts over a fair period, the company seems to be more than holding its own in the sector they operate in. ----- Yours, Max.
1 year ago they were saying the same..useless
SmokeyRose, Investors Chronicle rated it a 'Sell'. I strongly disagree with that view.
Mr Best must have his reasons for investing in HAYD, but they do not produce graphene, they obtain it and mix it with other materials. They call their process "Facilitating" the use of graphene and other fine materials to be used in such items as car bodies, making graphene inks, which they have sold to customers in Asia to alleviate or eliminate "Fake" goods being exported as "Genuine". Haydale has partnered with GEIC, I believe, at Manchester University where Mr Best apparently joined them. ----- Yours, Max.
you would take over HAYD given best has taken 8%
I have read and re-read todays RNS and see that an up-dated strategy has been produced and will be presented with the Interim results in April. I have always valued this company highly, but sense that the Board of Directors is about to change, with the Chairman stepping down and retire from the stresses that can occur and re-occur in guiding such a growing company. If Mr Best continues in post he might possibly reduce his input in the design aspect, alowwing some younger poeple to take the strain. I do not wish to be pessimistic but the financial people in the City may feel that something is about to change and therefore have decided to mark down the SP. --- Yours, Max.
Cracking RNS, so why the drops over the last few days? I hope the Interims in just over 3 weeks push this back up.
Note some big buys recently, largest £712k. That’s a significant investment, as are the others, many over £90k.
Thanks for your response will look tomorrow. Up-Date at month end you say, I hope so. Dr Routh was appointed CEO at beginning of October last, and I asked, during January, tongue in cheek, might we see an up-Date soon. Now we might see his report which will cover about six months. Perhaps a little more info coming out might lead to more conversation on this board. I mentioned at the time that the transport industry was going through some revolutionary changes regarding fuels and the use of sensors, among other things. ----- Yours, Max.
Hi MM
Robotic systems - https://www.abdynamics.com/en/news - good source of info
Thanks for point 2. I understand the need, just couldn’t link the SP rise with the RNS so am taking it as a coincidence.
Nice to see some conversation on this board!
