Seems like every sell is getting eaten up by buyers… probably back to fair value now

The bottom.....gone
R0h1td - yes good list, but I am not sure how often they update the website - when I have looked in the past it doesn't appear to be that up to date!
Good link - been trying to buy but not easy … 500,000 shares of the trade goes through..
Looks extensive regardless of the MTR contract loss, which is still being negotiated, including due amounts.
They seem confident on funding too based on the last report.
Could this all suddenly turn around . . .

Managed to get 300,000 shares eventually - not going to get over exposed in case things don’t work out (but I am hopeful)

I can only imagine funding is being arranged at a big discount to sp hence the further drop today. I held and lost a packet last year so will wait for further news before adding but I don’t see the point of selling for £30 personally as you might be able to subscribe to new shares at the discount price? GL
Anyone hanging around and holding or is it time to collect my £30 and move on...!
As of today - suspension lifted
…and AGM on June 9. Looks like the suspension will be lifted soon.

The odd update would be nice. Assume there is no time limit for how long a share can remain suspended? At least avoiding the carnage on the markets at the moment due ot the banking issues.....
wonder if this will ever bother to be listed again.
Right hopefully shares can be relisted and we can start again.
UniVision (AIM: UVEL), the Hong Kong based group whose principal activities are the supply, design, installation and maintenance of closed-circuit television (CCTV) and surveillance systems, and the sale of security related products, announces that the Winding up petition brought against it by one of its suppliers, namely, Synnex Technology International (HK) Limited, which was first announced on 13 December 2022, has been dismissed by the High Court in Hong Kong on 13 February 2023.
Wonder what happened with the court case yesterday. Would be nice to be re-instated for the market even if it is only to sell and tidy up the portfolio lol

This was such a well-written, easy and helpful information
https://www.pdsinternational.in
At last some good news - now get the last results out so suspension can end and perhaps include a reading update at the same time!
I got out at a loss a while back - will double or zero now - hope it’s not too long for news GLA
kinda looks like its curtains here i reckon - delayed accounts, looking for investors, contract terminated, being sued.... not good. glad it was tiny investment / gamble
Is it safe to say we shouldnt expect a divi this year?
Am getting close to cutting losses here - but such a small holding that may be as well hanging on to see what happens...
To sell

UniVision Engineering Ltd - Hong Kong-based CCTV and surveillance system company - Says contract for the replacement works of CCTV system for MTR Corporation Ltd's railway has been cancelled.
Says MTRC alleges breach of contract, which UniVision contests. Contract was expected to run until July 2024. Firm seeks to resolve the matter with MTRC. Termination date is June 20, "but the effect of this will not be immediately apparent as there is a time lag between works being completed and being certified and ultimately paid," UniVision explains.
"Over the period to date it has represented a step-change to the group's long-established business and termination of the contract would represent a significant loss of future revenue and profitability for the group," it warns, thought adding it would re-deploy resources from this contract to other projects to mitigate the reduction.
Current stock price: 0.21 pence, down 60% in London on Friday
12-month change: down 75%
Poster on the other BB site saying their are quite a few job positions available on the UVEL website - tbh not looked before so probably there are always jobs available but a decent number atm so a good sign that there is still quite a bit of work in the pipeline.
"Court hearing in respect of the Winding up petition, which was set for today, 19 April 2022, was adjourned to a later date which has yet to be agreed."
still no news - wonder if we can find anything out from a court type website - i had a google but cant see any news
Good spot - didn’t realise it was due today - don’t forget the cross claim :-) I presume the RNS will be tomorrow/Friday...
I don’t understand why companies rarely have a share consolidation although of course there will still be a spread!
Ridiculous
0.5 - 0.7
One sell!! Now buying should cancel this out and tick it back up. However we need an update soon especially on the pending claim but I nibbled some more today
What's caused this drop?

Same here.A totally mystery.Had actually forgotten all about them!
Unfortunately no idea, I am in the same boat.
Any long term holders still got these kicking about - i have 40,000 shares - looked at web site and not updated since 2016! I am not ascribing them any value but just wonder if there ever will be any - bit annoying having them just stuck in account with no value!

Quite a lump taken just a few minutes ago .... 417.3 k of shares.

All quiet here - some interesting questions from the Singapore stock exchange to Sinocloud which they seem to answer - wonder if this delayed the (assumed) equity raise to fund the purchase of the UVEL shares?
As the transaction needs to go to a SinoCloud shareholder vote would we not have seen an update regarding that by now?
Last day of April tomorrow, there should be a RNS out regarding the Sino Cloud transaction.
Enjoy, bet your looking forward to that :)
=minus 10% of your stake, but if the others have gone up.Average 6 x 5%......... As I said earlier I nead a ratio 3to 1 winners to be sure. but always have 3% stop loss and if anything starts negative get out. When I started I was cautious , and that was the way to play it. overconfidence is fatal. One time I was that bloody confident I had no stop loss and two open positions, went to a party, next morning logged on late, both down massively. It's not a game, you've got to be on the ball all the time.
Advice noted, Deano's coming home Thursday, we'll go fishing. He owns the UndergroundSports Bar And Grill in Andorra. It's the number one in Pas de la Casa out of 98 on Trip Advisor, if you're into skiing go there. Check it out.ATB

I can see why people are drawn towards cfds..
So what controls the period you hold for ?
Re video, People involved, to me thats the best thing, I was going to say only thing and maybe that would be true.
answer B , I have plenty of time.
I had a look through some of my old IG CFD statements, you may find interesting.
6 Nov 2013 buy HFD 1190 @ £4.202 cost £500.03
7Nov 2013 sell HFD 1190 @ £4.501 = £ 535.62 profit x 10 £ 355.90 Charges overnight and £10 in £10 out. Stop loss 3%.
Most daily held positions 6. Target 100% reached in 8 months. HL was my biggest winner, I think, but I had to hold it for 5 days. ATB
Yes, I think this has legs, read my post 21 March for my reasoning why Sino Cloud would pay 4.1. Makes sence to me.( I have more options than money atm!)
Have you read the PDMR RNS here, mentions 4.1p share deal..
240% in on the IPO then, nice..my average is 7p, and I am well pleased with that, waited a long time for the dip, then got as many NTs as buys.. My top performer..
IPO in May. just watched the video, why do you fancy it..people involved ?
You cover so many companies, dont know how you do it, networking?
Mine too, but after AZ using the word WILL and WILL did not happen it lost a bit of sparkle.
Also he said the model was scalable, but now that the funder does not want Italian companies the legalities have to be sorted again before funding can be done in countries other Italy.,,So I am a little confused.
But obviously it would be impossible to discuss on the syme BB..
Syme, by far my biggest holding, btw

Growing company with a profit of £1mill a year (+- £500k each year), so would suggest a market cap of £20mill (pe ratio of 20) is minimum fair value at the moment, which would be 5.5p.
With the growth that's going on I'd add a bit more onto a PE of 20 for implied value, so potentially worth £20-50mill (5.5p - 13p) right now!

52% of shares have a provisionary offer of 4.1p... why sell @1.5-1.8p when fair value is 4.1 at the least?
They are refusing to make a market at the moment. Loads of sells today but every time a small buy comes in it goes NT to buy. Clearly letting some loading take place before moving it up through 3p. The free float is tiny.

He’s selling for 8.3 million !! Will still hold 20% and hold I’m the other company , don’t be a di ck
He is getting cash and shares so will still own part of business via owning part of the buyer.
This will bring new equity opportunity for the business and synergies. Transactions like this happen everyday in M&A / Private Equity world
Why is the chairman selling such a large chunk of his UVEL c. 73% holding ???
He's selling almost 3/4 of his entire holding !!!
Seems very odd...
Agreed CEO is selling a lot of his Shares, however as per statement not all it seems.
"As envisaged in the MOU, Stephen Koo would retain 78,744,000 Ordinary Shares in UniVision, representing 20.52% of the issued share capital and remain as Executive Chairman."
So Chairman, Stephen Koo, it's selling approximately 52.4 % UniVision to SinoCloud Group payable in a combination of cash and new SinoCloud shares !!!
Now then if UniVision it's delisted next month he will be " I'm alright Jack" because from now on he will be holding SinoCloud shares and 0% UniV and pi here will be holding bags of s......??? Highly dangerous imo dyr.
