The odd update would be nice. Assume there is no time limit for how long a share can remain suspended? At least avoiding the carnage on the markets at the moment due ot the banking issues.....
Right hopefully shares can be relisted and we can start again.
UniVision (AIM: UVEL), the Hong Kong based group whose principal activities are the supply, design, installation and maintenance of closed-circuit television (CCTV) and surveillance systems, and the sale of security related products, announces that the Winding up petition brought against it by one of its suppliers, namely, Synnex Technology International (HK) Limited, which was first announced on 13 December 2022, has been dismissed by the High Court in Hong Kong on 13 February 2023.
"Court hearing in respect of the Winding up petition, which was set for today, 19 April 2022, was adjourned to a later date which has yet to be agreed."
SFOR also has similar issues (and then SP fall) with their auditors.
Think I should also top up. A keeper for long term. Fab divis.
Perhaps due to Brewin Dolphin's news. JIM still very under rated. Great divi.
May wait for the fall to flatten out a bit first though.
Agreed, worth buy in at these prices even if for much shorter bounce than long term pension plans for me.
Brokers never seem to get it right anyway. New price quoted from Broker is still higher than price before today anyway. Short term buying opp?
Unfortunately no idea, I am in the same boat.
Agreed CEO is selling a lot of his Shares, however as per statement not all it seems.
"As envisaged in the MOU, Stephen Koo would retain 78,744,000 Ordinary Shares in UniVision, representing 20.52% of the issued share capital and remain as Executive Chairman."
Regards Leadersmart shares, these have been sitting on my account for a few years now with a zero value listed. Does anyone know how this works and if they are likely to ever be valued?
Could not resist topping up a little here. Even if it does unbalance my portfolio a bit. not sure why earlier drop of 6% or so. Seems to have firmed up a little at end of day.
I wonder how the divi price will be impacted?
SP more than doubled from recent low.
I think this is great news and whilst no Microsoft, they did similar many times making early shareholders very rich.
Agree with your view of price drifting towards where it was before split.
Much prefer a split to a consolidation. i.e. SAGA.
Maybe folks are thinking there might be a special divi to be paid. Not clear yet.
Plus final divi in 2019 after the special was actually increased from 6.5p to 7.25p.
According to the Jarvis website on divis, they a paid a special divi twice in last 10 years. June 2015 & Sept 2019. Previous was in June 2008 but I do not think any other interim/final divis were paid in that year.
Perhaps SP increase due to people investing their divis back into JIM. Wonder if a special Divi will be paid later this year.
This has been an awesome share for years. Very well run company and a good progressive divi payout.
