Personally I aim to continue holding. Hopefully Jarvis Management will up the Divi sometime soon.
Apologies as decimal point in wrong place.
That my buy came through as a sell. No doubt because it was a a fairly low price of 0.665 and the system thought it was a sell. Current dummy sell price is 0.0550
Last day to buy is Tuesday 24th Sept to be entitled to any divi payout. Admit it does seem a bit too good to be true. However have taken a small punt as the company looks half decent going forward anyway.
So you knew the FED were to wind down QE. Seems this is a mian driver in recent stock market movement downwards, which NG follows, rather than NG themselves actually going down against general stock market sentiment? Until then NG had been ticking back up above the 750p mark.
Then divi would be better yet with less tax.
FT article puts better light on Gold prospects at least in short term FT 15th FEB 2013 due to China launching it's first exchange traded fund backed by physical gold. Potential to push up Gold prices?

Not sure is the answer. However top holders (i.e. Henderson Global Investors Ltd etc.) in GPRT own 26% plus of the company. Also take into account smaller shareholders then directors may own 60-70% of company?? So it would not always be a done deal. Hopefully the institutional shareholders would want a decent return in lieu of remaining as shareholders.
Do not forget that the directors own a very large percentage of the shares in calculating ods of takeovers or going bust.
Though not sure why LSE keep removing links.
Hi can anyone provide this link. Thanks.
Thanks good article. Just hope the Jam of tomorrow starts to be delivered today some time soon.
Holding this share for some time now and never ceases to amaze me how such a good company with good prospects constantly screws up!! Amazing ability to underperform against all the odds it's seems.
Not so bad, however be good to see it steady up now. Much more and it will take the shine of the big divi payout.
Agreed regards the good divi. Though I wonder if it was yourself a few years ago that slated this company after they refused to pay out on their divis. Anyway good to hold onto. I wonder if they will ever be a takeover prospect for the bigger guys. Part of me hopes so, but mostly I hope not, as I get a real good deal on share trading costs and a decent service.
Besides the share price of course.
Increasing price of gold should be great news for HMB even if it's continual upward spiral never ceases to amaze me. Surely next set of HMB published figures will be much improved. Then the increase in SP.
Unfortunately with the market carnage going on, even if HMB is doing well, people maybe forced to liquidate good shares in order to cover other losses in the shares that have taken a hammering. Agree with most here about HMB having good prospects. In an ideal world I would be topping up at these levels. However I maybe joining those selling to cover my own losses elsewhere unless the market takes a turn for the north.... GLA.
