Mine was to put a rocket up their ar*se. Still won’t achieve anything
Mad 2 hour turnaround. From bull to bear across all media. Now vote the board out! Thg has few supporters
Mine will be too. Whilst I'm pleased that the price is staging a slow recovery, this doesn't take away from the absolute sh!show the BOD have presided over
I did mine through my account at Hargreaves lansdown. Mine were mostly against!
I can’t make the AGM but would like to vote via a proxy does anyone know how to do this? TIA
OSG...One Sad Git.....go back to ramping your Kelso Holdings...oh I forgot you sold those to😢
Will be voting the same way as you with my 175000 shares every vote counts !
Aph01 I will do thanks. If it dips below 70p I will hoover up some more. You can stay short your couple of hundred shares and I will keep building a proper position. I will make good money eventually and you will be left with your d I ck in your hand posting on chat boards for your boiler room bosses who pay you in a year what I can make or lose in a day. Woof woof!
"One day though the SP will not drop and it will rerate to a SOTP figure that will be many multiples of where we are now."
Crafty, Peel Hunt did what was a recent 78 page report on SOTP and it hasn't rerated the price or caused the City to jump onboard and gobble up every available share and get it anywhere near that. So I'm intrigued how you think it will get there and given most share price moving catalysts are being overlooked or binned. This imvho would re-rate tomorrow simply if the right changes were made at the top of THG with the right replacements were brought in and that's why I'll be voting against the re-election of TGL, MM and JG.
In a nutshell, despite spurning legitimate bids at much higher values than present THG is not presently delivering on share holder value, and that's despite 2 years to do so.
Just wondering how you yourself will be voting, that's with those shares that you are not top slicing on?
@CityPie - Keep buying, tick tock tick tock.
Don't be suckered by the tiny increase in Qube short, it's a distraction for the bidders or PE imho. They all work together to manipulate the UK markets as the FCA are redundant it seems? The SEC have real teeth that's why companies and investors are moving more and more money to US markets...the top 3 US listed companies are worth more than every UK company combined, says it all really..JMO Adyor.
Ste’s “bots reloading” one the other week was a bit embarrassing
"Shorts increasing again"
Care to provide any evidence for that Ste, especially if it's a material increase? Or are you just spouting drivel again?
OSG you say you are long, me too, we are different sides of the same coin. I will list a positive for every one of your negatives.
FCF positive for 2024 is a big one for me.
Pivoting the business to concentrate on margins over growth.
Reducing capex/debt
Staff reductions from 10000 to 7500
Nutrition Celebrating Record Profits
Fulfillment centres finished and offering global 3 days delivery
Opening manufacturing sites in Japan and India
Biossance acquisition for zero - stock was equal to offer
MyProtein succesfull re-brand
MyPortein launch into licencing with some valuable partnerships
MyProtein launches in all major supermarkets.
All divisions split USA-ready
Beauty is back to growth and concentrating on high-margin products
I too could go on and on.
I am here for the long hall and truly believe THG will come good otherwise I wouldn't be invested. I buy on the dips and top slice on the way up.
I then spend some of my profits and buy back into THG at a reduced rate to get my average down. I make no secret of this and have mentioned it many times both here and on ADVFN when I used to post on there.
I am more than happy to continue to do this while the SP is being manipulated.
One day though the SP will not drop and it will rerate to a SOTP figure that will be many multiples of where we are now.
IMHO this happens soon, it has to happen soon or MM will lose the 65%
I do have an interest in the AGM and will be attending you sound very frustrated with your investment so maybe you should too. Happy to meet up for a coffee.
Lost 74p. bearish. last 90 mins uber bearish. sell
Red. stunning
@ OSG, understand you are frustrated at MM, and clearly MM has made some mistakes along the way. But to balance some of your criticisms:
Strategy update
- Current strategy is very clear to me, focus on margin and cash generation, and focus on core territories where growth is profitable in the short term.
- Exploring strategic options to address the Group's valuation - looks like they are keeping their options open to maximise value and running multi track across Beauty & Nutrition. I don't expect a running commentary on the process as it may weaken their negotiating hand, particularly with partners
- Whilst people are frustrated that nothing has happened "yet", macro conditions are only just opening up for maximising value for existing shareholders IMO. I'm expecting something this year
Consider share buybacks
With what cash? FCF+ should be used to reduce debt
Premium listing
Rules changing to a single LSE category, so not much THG can do on this until new regime is confirmed. Delay is down to the LSE/FCA not THG
Share price fall since NY
You say that is Iain Mac related, I say that is markets getting ahead of itself on rate cuts at the back end of 23, and then unwinding in 24. We are starting to see that reverse again now
US Bound/MBO - and then nothing
All still possibly in play IMO, but we won't know until the right deal is on the table for THG's existing shareholders
Who's decision is it not to publish Bid prices?
There can be whole raft of commercial reasons why they have kept it confidential
£50 Rebrand
That is a 5 year plus investment in the brand. Hard to evaluate effectiveness until 2025
3% is a 'pump and dump' hahahaha your stupidity never fails to amaze me. chat ****e 24/7
Agreed Novice. I don't bother looking at the celebrity poster on Twitter and his prognostications anymore.
As for Ste2000. I am wonder at what price level he switches to long and goes on the attack. He has done that a few times over the years :)
@SIH - I actually found the STE3K/4K/MildTiger parody accounts quite funny. It definitely helps stop the fools spamming the board with their negative nonsense.
For me, the "cheek of the same ar$e" would be the perennial rampers who keep banging on about imminent whale accounts for ingenuity and takeovers. There aren't as many of them thankfully. They are both equally as annoying and transparent.
Correct. its called a pump and dump
This morning it went from 75 to 77 in 2 seconds. Your 29 minute ‘sell off’ is not worth talking about when it comes to THG
About to go red. some drop in 29 mins
Crafty you just set yourself up for comments and I've been trying hard not to reply but this one!!
"Is it the company's fault that the market is not reflecting this?
Maybe in fact the company itself and present individuals have something to do with it?
Were they not advised to publish strategy, consider share buybacks, premium list and consider seperate listing for MP ages ago, and to RNS more often. Who then has been responsible on deciding on virtually none of these happening. 95% of all advice getting binned comment on top.
You tell me who caused a fall from 89p / 90p to 55p by deciding to completely disregard shareholder discontent at Iain Mac's role within the company right at the start of the year. Then Iain Mac decides to step down in any case and gets given another role within the company.
You tell me who stated one of the divisions might be USA bound "in the not too distant" after a Telegraph article pre results... or other similar MBO or delisting comments - and then Nothing.
Who's decision is it not to publish Bid prices, so even despite genuine bids, the share price never gets near to where it should.
You tell me who has in part created the mindset in the City of "Don't touch THG with a bargepole" probably with constant sniping.
£50 Million spent on retaining custom then a Rebrand which now seems to be partly to blame for losing custom.
MyProtein Kitchen - where's the mass rollout.
I could go on and on and on.
I suspect given you post intensely and then disappear that you are merely trying to trade this so actually probably have no interest in AGM voting, whereas other LTH's who are not seeing what should actually be a healthy return on their investment will be voting.
Let me just remind you that most other shares are trending at all time highs and so are UK and US markets, yet THG is nowhere near previous bids and at 75p is 20% less than it actually started the year at.
What do you think of the poster who creates user names to "Police the board" Novice? Just another cheek of the same arxe?
