BBG - you're the biggest clown this BB has seen and there's some pretty stiff competition.
SOLG withholding information. Laughable.
Go back to selling farms you clown.
BBG - continually amazed how posters consider length of membership or number of posts equates to knowledge of Solgold.
I suggest reading SOLG material and listening to what the company says rather than worry about post counts.
NotMuchMoney - I am amazed that you have been a member for less than 30 days however you have such a strong opinion on the company.
I think you and all your muppet pseudo's and colleagues should shuffle off - hooroo
Bozi - agreed, the last 12 months don't add up!
Very unclear what is driving SOLG forward:
- the company's strategy? Unlikely, they are still mid-SR.
- interested parties? Potentially, get the MRE/PFS and IPA and additional licences completed
- the Govt? Possibly, given spend shortfall vs original IPA and delays to revised IPA. Plus the missed milestones re: expected start dates for Cascabel.
BBG - what was it Scott said? 'No more studies required, we've an amazing Tier 1 asset so let's get this sold' - or words to that effect.
12 months later and guess what... no sale and now more studies.
Please, don't give it the usual 'it's strategic... they are withholding information' excuse.
Remember, interested parties were in the dataroom for months (1 year+) for the grassroots regionals. Don't think we got an update on what happened there.
Bozi darling, maybe Solg is withholding information, so that they can push the asset further forward...
Why try and extract an offer now, when in several weeks / months time the value appreciates due to securing additional permits etc.
So many numpties talking shi'te on this thread.
Ship - I disagree.
It's all very well SOLG trying to buy time with the market but if the data room incumbents already have all the details and models then why didn't they bid when SOLG agreed the termsheet with the government a few weeks back?
Why also, are SOLG spending funds putting together updated reports if they aren't required and instead they could just be focussing in getting the remaining permits through for Cascabel?
It doesn't add up. SOLG are doing the work because they've been advised that it needs to be done. I strongly suspect we'll see it done and then we'll se movement.
Personally, considering the shape and levels of the cup and handle starting 2011, and the fact that inflation has simply not been factored in the price, I would not bother commenting on gold unless the price goes beyond 2200.
GOLD
Reaching new highs $2021 +7.50
Shipright they will not be working out there own resource estimates.
A resource estimate is based upon defining the ore body.
Nobody is going to start drilling Alpala from scratch and ignore the MRE's.
There is little point in SOLG producing these.
Although it's probably been said many times in previous posts, with all the interested parties in the data room, and assuming they have all the available data, they will all be working out their own resource estimates and would take very little notice of anything produced by SOLG.
So the time Scott is spending pursuing permissions is well spent as this is something potential buyers would not be doing or even able to do.
NAL, have you seen the movie Shane starring Alan Ladd? One of my all time favourite Western. If you haven't seen it, check it out. The seminal moment is the gunfight between Shane and Wilson. Shane called Wilson a low down Yankee Liar, to which Wilson replied, Prove it. You calling folks liars, so prove it.
It's quite alright Anon3, when they go low, I go high:)
"It would take 5 minutes to read the extracts from thwe latest MD&A which showed that PLENTY has been going on to derisk Cascabel.
If you can't be bothered to invest any time in reading the info that the Company provides on a regular basis, you shouldn't be buying shares at all."
You really can't help yourself, can you? Yet another derogatory reply when you're spoken too in a perfectly civil way.
I've told you that the market doesn't care about all the flysh*t stuff. How do I know that? Easy, I look at the SP.
You've even admitted yourself that this is going nowhere.
Anyway, I've given you every chance to have a civil debate and you simply can't do it. Because you're an ignorant, ill mannered tool, who's always right.
I'm filtering you, but the trouble is there will no doubt be tons of green totally dominating the page. Oh well, I'll live with it.
Carry on, because soon nobody will be reading what you have to spout about.
"People with narcissistic personality disorder tend to consider themselves grand, important, and better than others. Grandiose behaviour, which helps establish this sense of personal importance, might involve:bragging about personal achievements and skills."
Now, which poster on this BB who best fit the description given above? Only one poster I can think of who mentions his wife in most of his posts!!
Eloro thats rich coming from someobody who has still failed to answer the legitimate questions I asked.
And you told us heer that you have a day job...what are you? A fireman...waiter in an empty cafe...
What happened to ""He that humbleth himself shall be exalted...."
And heres the interpretation of Luke 14.11...
"“For all who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” By making ourselves the center of attention — with our greed, pride, demands and complaints — we fall into the temptation of idolatry, that is, of worshipping false gods, who deserve neither honor nor trust."
Apply to self...
Same again ….. jumped all over the rise ….. hey Ho
They never seem to let it go but it’ll have to happen sooner or later 2.6m traded ….. not too shoddy
The early large buy...Paid premium ..... 829,554 @ 9.041p
Will they let it go today? now 9.31 v 9.44p
Watch out, Lord Braggart has arrived!
It won't be long before we are reading posts about the size of his position, and the large position his wife holds in solg. Everyone are mathematically illiterate and only his Turing like abilities can provide all of the answers here.
I wonder who is looking after his wife while he is on here making himself disagreeable? Lady Chatterley's Lover comes to mind:)
I detect an all talk and nothing in the trousers department boaster on the BB:)
RK, I'm not sure you understand my point. If the shares remain in Treasury at the point of an exit, the company can cancel them, thus increasing the return for all shareholders - fact. This is what I was referring to.
Sorry addickt but you're still not correct...
The shares are already in issue...they are part of the 3.001 billion.
And if they were sold to a prospective bidder it would definitely spike the price (hence Bob's observation about using them 'strategically')
But even ifd they are slowly fed into the market they would increase liquidity which, as I've said. is a major reason why this share is going nowhere...institutions or othe rbig buyers simply can't get any size...
Mrprt had to pay a 3% premium to get just 829k shares...
Redknight - re: operational cashflow of $1m per month...
Why is it a positive to be able to go 22 months doing 'nothing'?
What about the IPA minimum spending commitments?
What about the PFS3 costs (including external consultant fees)?
We know how much prior studies have cost.
What about making further regional progress (Porvenir as a minimum, Helipuerto etc.)?
Nincompoop Aussie Loser, you love to label folks as liars, yet provide no evidence to prove the falsehood which you are alleging. Since you are claiming falsehood, the onus is on you to provide the evidence to prove that you are right. It is not our responsibility to prove to you that we are right. You are not the final arbiter of truth here.
Bozi...thanks for posting so much commonsense...
I beg to disagree on gold and junior miners...
This time its different...and it will be for copper too...
We are long overdue a metals and minerals boom and that goes for Junior Miners too...just look at GDXJ which is breaking out forcefully...

https://finimize.com/content/buyers-are-buying-it-miners-arent-mining-it-coppers-a-boom-just-waiting-to-happen
"The copper mining industry, meanwhile, has been twiddling its thumbs.
There’s been close to zero investment in new projects for the last decade, because of – among other things – the prospect of poor returns due to low prices for the metal. But even when rising copper prices should’ve been an incentive over the last 12 months, there hasn’t been a single major new copper project approved.
The lack of a response from the copper suppliers has left the copper market very close to peak supply. Consider then that it takes at least two years to extend an existing mine and as long as eight years to ramp up a completely new mining project, and things aren’t going to get better quickly. In fact, Goldman Sachs has estimated that there’ll be a record shortfall of copper over the next decade."
