I hear you Tesla, sentiments does have a role to play.
I do hope that the problems in Panama will focus interest in Ecuador. It would be nice to hear more about the in depth due diligence currently on the way at Cascabel.
And even if you deduct the cost of building the mine, its still well over £1...
But there is far more to find at Porvenir, Helipuerto, Rio Amarillo, etc...etc...and a huge footprint into the Ecuador mining industry from which a dominant position can be built...
So I say again...with 20 interested parties in the data room, maybe it is how the hell to value this basket of riches...
Sorry...forgot the link...
https://www.mmg.com/media-release/mmg-to-acquire-khoemacau-copper-mine/
Thanks to the poster who gave me the headsup on this deal...for all the dismal jimmies who think we will only get 30p or so, read these metrics.
Ecuador is ranked 62 in the world for GDP ($106BN) and Botswana 114. ($18BN)..
The Chinese State (through MMG) has paid $1.9 billion for a mining company that is, admittedly, prpducing 50/65kt increasing to 135/155kt for a 20 year mine life.
Cascabel will produce an average 265kt
It has eserves of copper (6.4M tonnes) and silver (263m ounces)
Solgold has, so far, 12.4M tonnes of copper, 92.2M oz silver, BUT 26.7M gold
So at current prices, Khoemacau's reserves are worth $55.5BN
Solgold's are worth $162.7Bn
Now of course its not a straight read across, but theoretically the price for SOLG would be $1.9bn x 162.7/55.5
i.e. $5.57Bn or £1.50 a share...
Enjoy...

Of course it isn’t pleasant when your investment is down, I get that, and if you have made a sound investment value will win out in the end.
But there are a few rampers of which red knight is the main culprit who will pounce on anything slightly positive and ramp it to death, anything negative will be ignored unless he has sold, which he does do. He misleads the board based on his agenda and position which in my view is not on and why I despise the poster.
These rampers also don’t accept there is any risk and a buy out is a done deal, that is extremely dangerous to people reading their posts and it is designed to mislead readers into buying and digging rampers like red ramper out of the huge hole he is buried in.
I would say there are 2-3 posters currently in that position, Red knight followed by fort, then to a lesser degree DBW.
I don’t put 1984 in that group, as although he is bullish and posts there will be a buy out, he doesn’t out and out ramp like red ramper does and his view is a valid view to take because that may happen.

Scott said it would happe n by 25 November...
Meanwhile, am in contact with the Board. Twigger and Clare not 'orchestrated'. Sadly missed. Scott doing a great job.
Cheers Tesla,
I think it's fair to say, leveraged or not, we are all hurting at the current SP. We all expected fast and smart. Instead, it would appear that slow and stupid won the race!!
All we need now is for the Nincompoop Aussie Loser to rack up with an illiterate post:)

I think Noboa was the best result as far as miners go
This was an article a couple of weeks ago that I found summed it up quite well
“ The Noboa administration is anticipated to lay a strong emphasis on extractivism during the first 100 days in office. Extractivism is an economic model based on the principle that the exploitation of natural resources like oil, gas, and minerals is crucial for national development. Ecuador is a nation rich in these resources, boasting some of Latin America’s most significant deposits of gold, silver, and copper. Noboa’s approach aligns well with this wealth, fostering a setting that could fuel economic growth through natural resource extraction, and he has placed this at the forefront of his plan to close the fiscal deficit in the country”

RT, the answer is, not one of us has a clue. If it is going to happen he needs to get on with sharpish. Are you concerned that Noboa will not give approval? because there doesn't appear to be any evidence to support that. Mind you, this is Ecuador, so who knows?
Can we have a discussion as to whether Mr Lasso might approve licences for Solgold before he leaves office please? Anything meaningful would be great to be a part of.

The ramper is clutching at straws trying to find positivity where there is none.
It just wreaks of desperation now.
He/she is highly over leveraged and desperation is kicking in with the upcoming agm, which may kick things off…….
RK, what about them? I can only see a total of approx 1.3m, which is not exactly earth-shattering, is it? Or were there more?
Referring back to the Bell Potter holding, I seem to recall that some time ago they were described as belonging to Mather and associated parties, plus various Australian private investors. I'm afraid there's nothing exciting about it.

You only have to look at the incessant 💩 he writes daily to realise why he is despised by all but a few hardcore over leveraged rampers.
He has been posting this 💩 since the mid thirties when he got hit hard with the drop and is trying to claw back his huge losses.
This is all before his continual daily diarrhoea of how successful he has been. Only at the weekend was he waxing lyrical at having met Duncan Bannatyne, no one is interested or actually believes his bs, so I will call his 🐂 💩 out on a daily basis.
Love the fact he has been called out on the other side and got quite angry and nasty………
He is an odious character and posters need to know that he is so over leveraged his desperation wreaks of urinal………
You aren’t successful if you have to take out T20s in your 70s because you are in such a pickle………..
Look at those after hours trades...
.
Eloro. Why do you never engage your brain before you post.
Tesla is by no means the only poster who is negative to rk.
90% of the board have no time for his continuous unfounded ramping.
In fact apart from you and adikt who only believe positives, probably every other poster treats him as a joke.
Put down your copy of " investing for children"
Stop reading every word irwin prints.
And look back on redknights posting history.
Then reflect before you feel the need to embarrass yourself
I think most of us invested are currently in a crying game!
Tesla, what is it between you and Red?
I notice that you only post after he posts, and that you are always negative towards his posts. What is it behind your animosity towards Red? You seem totally fixated with Red. Is there a crying game situation between you and Red?
I am curious.
Give it a rest clown 🤡
