Who’s going to tell him?
Bless him, nurse Ratched must have forgotten some of his pills
I'm guessing that was signed before Stackhouse bought those shares last night...
That should light a fire under the shares...
11p open tomorrow...?

What’s this tweet, 33 year agreement with Ecuador government?

Sorry millions but look ar what we got in return and what has happened to the metal in the ground since then...
On gold alone up $18 Biliion, which at 1% is 189 million or 27p for each of the additional 525 million shares...
Exactly, I think I laid out all the arguments pretty succinctly, both positive and negative, in my 17.20 post. No-one has added anything of any substance since then, just their own take/spin on the news.
Let's see if anyone has something material to add over the weekend.
What's the chances ?! 😵💫🤡🥸🤪🤪🤪
Which is of course a 18% increase in out Cascabel stake...
And at 1% that's $300 million for the 15% which is just about our current MCAP...
You couldnt make it up...
I'm sure you meant million, not thousands. I wasn't suggesting the dilution accounts for all of the reduction, but it is an obvious factor.
Actually 525k more shares (21% dilution) for which we got 15% of Cascabel...or more important total control...
SP down 71%...
Over $200 billion in the ground...Cascabel alone...
Work that out...
RK, a lot more shares.
I stand corrected 1984.
Thank you for highlighting.

Have a good weekend
Silver made a 3 year high and copper a 21 month high earlier today...
Last time copper was at that level SOLG was 35p...
What's changed...?
Whatever this means, he wouldn't have spent his money if things were looking dodgy, no matter how trivial the sum involved.
17.5 Canadian cents 🙄
Kat2008.
Could it just be a free carry an option he was given for a reward? Loyalty to the company?
Doing a grand job...
They are issued at 17.5p
SolGold plc (LSE & TSX: SOLG) has received notification on 11 April 2024 from Christopher Stackhouse, Chief Financial Officer of the Company, that on 11 April 2024 he had acquired 115,000 Ordinary Shares of £0.01 each in the Company at a price of CAD0.175 per Ordinary Share of £0.01 each in the Company for the total consideration of CAD20,125. Following this acquisition, Christopher Stackhouse holds 215,000 Ordinary Shares of £0.01 each in the Company representing 0.01% of the issued share capital of the Company.
Ridiculous...
Gold at an all time high...
COPX at a 12 year high...
GDX close to a 2 year high...
GDXJ has made a 2 year high...
And SOLG cant even make a 3 month high...
Mark my words...THIS IS A COILED SPRING....
Either ....
1) Something is on the way re funding, and the rules have not been broken.
2) Something is on the way re funding, and the rules have been broken.
3) Nothing is on the way re funding.
1) Quite possible, as we are not privy to what has been arranged, nor are we experts on such legal matters ( please step forward and identify yourself if you are an expert )
2) Possible, but why?. He could be really stupid, reckless or badly advised. He could be deliberately doing this to vandalise the SP by sowing bad news. Even we could see that this would be counterproductive to our personal circumstances, if we were he, so seems unlikely.
3) As above, he should understand the message that this would send, so he is either suicidal, or a vandal. I could be deeply cynical and spin some conspiracy theory to narrate a deliberate act of SOLG destruction ( the timing, just as we approach a critical period when the funds run out, plus the tiny amount of the share dealing in question - a few thousand pounds, and pointless, on the surface of it ) beyond dumb, only an act of deliberate sabotage would explain this.
So....... If you are a pessimist, it looks like an act of sabotage, stupidity, etc..... You can spin it that they are out to spike our guns, destroy the company, then allow a predator to swoop in and snatch it from us for nothing.
Or....... The optimist view, that all is fine and we are home and dry, just ticking all the boxes, and Stackhouse is already counting his loot in public. A message that all is hunky-dory. Although, to be fair, unless someone with better understanding than I comes in and explains exactly how this purchase, at this time, is fair, legal and indicative of a done deal, I stand skeptical.
I reckon it's a message to the market, but I can't honestly grok it.
I suspect that the reality is that none of us know, so we all have to just hold on for dear life and ride the rollercoaster for a bit longer.
Calm down lad ..
It's the weekend.
For the umpteenth time, they are not in a close period
Close not closed
Stackhouse is an “insider” and it would be a criminal offence to trade in shares of SOLG if he was aware of unpublished price sensitive information. I assume therefore that there is nothing imminent.
Imo .. you can buy in a closed period.
But how long do they need to hold them, before being able to sell again...
That is the question ⁉️
Bring on next week , it's building up lovely .

I guess if a bid were to land “out of the blue” he could argue he had no prior knowledge?
