Have you got £500's worth yet Roxi?
A little purchase at 5.9p helps bring average even lower now, be happy to get it under 0.8p ,
Sharketmare your missing the point.
The agreement is between Solgold and Semaiac.
Hence they are committing to spend a lot of money.
They would only do this if Solgold can build this.
They would never commit to this on the rumour of a sale.
Going like a rocket GV...2096...SOLG has megatonnes of the stuff...
It’s pretty obvious that without RNSd proof of a monetisation event occurring, the markets have lost all interest/ belief/ trust in Solgold ever getting its act together and delivering something worth buying in to.
I must of missed the memo on that one... Where is it stated that Scott or Chris are at Pdac/Toronto?
Whether they present or not they normally tweet/post that they are attending these events and don't see any reason to keep it under the radar
Scott is Ecuador based now wonder if he flew business class and shared a floppy sandwich with Noboa on the 747. Or did he get a free flight pass on Noboa's jet?
Joking aside... it is odd that both have flown to Canada when they could have met up very easily in Ecuador.
Mmm.
You can compare Mcap but comparing one share price to another is totally meaningless so not worthy of comment
Ironic...
The SOLG and GGP share prices are pretty similar...
GGP MCap £331m...
SOLG £182m, but...
Newmont divesting Havieron but keeping SOLG...
1 Why was the RNS released today?
2 Why have Scott and Chris flown in to Toronto?
3 Why has the President of Ecuador flown to Toronto?
When none of them are presenting who could they possibly be meeting? Maybe they have heard there's nice cream teas lol.
All will be revealed soooon. Just my opinion 😉
Small top up with a few grand found down the back of the sofa, anything around these levels a great buy
Catalysts beginning to flow now
All the discussions about whether this means we're taking to this to production or not, the fact is today's news is excellent and for me, is confirmation of the fact SC is gradually ticking the right boxes. He has changed this company fundamentally and is clearly intent on delivering. Thank god shareholders had the sense to re-elect him.
It's equally clear that the mining question is very much a priority for this government and they seem to be making all the right noises, especially when it comes to Cascabel.
Perhaps, at long last, things are beginning to look more rosy?
"Why does this share get stabbed by 1.5% per day? When is it dead?"
Because there are more shares being sold than bought. Not enough people believe in the long term prospects.
Better off buying bitcoin in my opinion, up considerably vs SOLG! People will say im crazy, but they will still be on the sidelines when bitcoin hits $100k
Matters good call. Better times ahead..and soon!
Can I just say, it is Solgold that is going forward, it is Solgold who will build this mine, it will be Solgold riding high in Ecuador.
The only thing that will change is the ownership of the Company, the one that buys us out, they will keep the good name in my opinion.

"The agreement is between Semaica and Solgold.
Hence it's Solgold going forward."
This is just not true. Just as the agreements we've signed with Franco and Osisko aren't dependent on us being the company to actually build the mine for those companies to see returns on their investments.
In typical fashion your head is firmly in the sand and you're ignoring the many facts listed below that run counter to your narrative.
Why does this share get stabbed by 1.5% per day? When is it dead?
I'm not sure it works that way BBG. I thought the RNS was more desiged to give the Green energy firm a plug ahead of PDAC.
Yes there are benefits in mutual agreements, but I think the green energy firm needs to prove it has project pipeline so it can secure funding to execute upon it. So more PR for the energy firm than SOLG but agree that the fact they are in discussions with these types of firms bodes well.
Ultimately... if the majors are sitting on their hands, then it is going to take a multi consortium style group to take Alpala forwards. Bit of brazillian... bit of chile.. alot of china and a bit of canadian perhaps via PE firm.
It may well end up being a tale of two stories whereby we exit to these type guys and then further down the line... BHP enter into it but end up paying double what they owuld have done had they gone for solg in first place.
That's the idea of it... and BHP and other majors will be well aware of those scenarios.
Your missing the point SharketMare.
If this was going to be built by anyone else.
Then that would have to be announced first.
The agreement is between Semaica and Solgold.
Hence it's Solgold going forward.
Semaiac would never announce this on what maybe.
It has been given solid assurance's.
But I sold it all around 9, saw some signs I didn't like. You've got to be flexible in this game
Q, so the bloke lied in a court submission? His statement is directly relevant, the fact you don't wish to believe it is more a question of you clutching at straws, not me.
By the way, if I'm right we have settled his claim for circa £2m and I'm not sure we'd have done that if he was telling porkies.
The one thing we do agree upon is that Cascabel is going into production...but we won't own it.
Why would anyone have confidence in SOLG building Cascabel? They've openly stated they're not mine builders, they've effectively shut down ~90% of the company's operations, they've sacked most of their workforce, and the former CEO has submitted court documents stating that all of the current BoD are pursuing a sale.
Today's RNS is a great step towards turning Cascabel into an asset that a serious buyer can purchase and develop.
Why would these contractors sign agreements with Solgold if they had any doubt regarding the project proceeding.
Can't wait for the big reveal re funding the capex will ! its coming
From HH...
"RNS signing a MOU with parties involved in providing hydroelectric power. Something big is happening . Solgold week full of news ahead..."
"This is very bullish.More RNSs to be filed next few weeks. Plus PDAC new updates..."
Addicknt DC's statement is not relevant.
He is embroiled in a court case.
You are snatching at straw's here.
You however have not answered the question.
Semaiac would not spend this upfront without understanding who is going to build this
They would not take the chance that someone else would own it and gamble on timelines and costs
That's ridiculous.
They are doing this because undertakings have been given by Solgold, so that Semaiac can do this and make money.
