Good find, very interesting!!!! China taking a foothold in Ecuador, will shake things up
If it was BR it would be good to finally have them off the register. It would also be highly amusing if some corporate action occurs in the not too distant and they are left with some serious egg on their faces.
Sorry Pad, forget to say thank you for the link - it's very interesting news.
Hang on! I thought no one was interested in either Ecuador or Cascabel? I know this is true because many people on here have told us it's a fact.
Darren your correct.
I didn't realise it was lifted in one or two areas.
it doesn't alter my point, but somewhat reinforces it.
my point is, if the more volatile areas were not in curfew, the civil unrest, would immediately
resurface.
there was never any real issues in the areas now free from curfews..
none the less, your correct. I should of done my research.
I wonder if you would like to comment on my other points, one of which.
adikt telling us were not running out of money in one sentence.
then in the next sentence telling us, if there is no corporate action
we will need a cash raise in June.
Evening all.. NAL I know you like to bang on about supposed facts, but when you state something as fact and it is not I feel obliged to correct you. When you state Ecuador has a national curfew that is incorrect. Perhaps you didnt understand my post of a few weeks ago explaining this? Each canton is risk assessed and assigned a curfew level according to percieved risk, high , medium or low. The majority of cantons at the moment are low risk , which actually means no curfew whatsoever!! But hey what do I know according to you I dont even live here!!

Rinehart has played a corker here. She now has the remaining licenses near cascabel where it’s highly likely there will be other big finds. That puts her in a wonderful position to do a deal with any buyer of cascabel to share processing and transportation which opens up a joint bid between her and take your pick of bhp, newmont, Jiangxi or any other
Or she could could just have made herself favourite to take the lot. Let the shootout begin
This is about to get interesting
Or do they make a move on an asset that isn’t cascabel thereby ending all funding concerns? 🤔

all that has got ecuadorian tongues wagging that perhaps han**** prospecting thinks the time is ripe to make a move to become the dominant player in the north.
the chatter goes like this. cascabel is in play with more than 20 confidentiality agreements signed by solgold and multiple visits to the project for those interested.
bhp and newmont (the interest came through its newcrest takeover) are no doubt in the room. but will they make a move or let other major mining group’s take on the multi-billion development?
han**** prospecting has $us20 billion in cash or thereabouts at its disposal, so it is also no doubt in the cascabel room.
Looking at BlackRocks website, the following appears.
Source: BlackRock Investment Institute, with data from Refinitiv Datastream, IMF, MSCI, December 2023.
Notes: The markets shown are those within the MSCI Developed, Emerging or Frontier indexes. Emerging and developed highlighting is based on MSCI classification. The size of the circles are dynamic and will change based on the metric selected above. Data for gross domestic product (GDP), government debt and population are as at the end of the most recent year end. The share of GDP calculated using purchasing power parity (PPP) is shown by selecting the GDP (PPP) button. Gross government debt is based on IMF data. Market cap (MSCI) shows the market capitalization of the market's MSCI index at month-end.
Now that MSCI have dropped the selling of SOLG, we should see normal service resume.

You know the hedge fund?
Used to be holder of over 2% stock.
CEO Mentioned on the following video 33minutes 20 seconds in…
https://youtu.be/C0EyNSrj0DU?si=blClfC8FjC_6oolF
Eh?
Black Rock have been selling the stock since last Junes Investor Presentation. Scott mentioned it then, and again in the September interview that a major shareholder was selling, bring the price down to sell up. They held circa 80 Million shares at the last update.
I Wonder if MSCI has been working for BlackRock, coincidence this is the last day they will be dealing with the stock.
They had to bring it down so much to trigger the shares to be available.
Tomorrow we will see if this was the reason for the year long share price destruction.
Interesting times ahead.

Good point DBW he’s probably had plenty of experience there, each to their own of course. We are not prejudiced on this forum
Let's not get too excited. When he retired his previous moniker, 1981, it took him no time at all before he reappeared. Still, let's enjoy it whilst it lasts.
Go 7uck yourself Stack. 6ft 11.. yeah right - what a bell3nd. Do one
1984 disagree….. he probably knows more about bottoms than anyone else here …… and will most likely keep a low profile for a while
There won’t be a next time 🤡
Until next time... Bye all 👹
Screw Loose isn’t anywhere near intelligent enough to pull that off. He doesn’t even understand what a bottom is
Or anything else for that matter!! Typical dopey wokey sheep 🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑
Kat2008 - they're already on the board.
It's Stackhigh and his alter-ego B3ast.
Another 10m just gone through
Probably ESG bullocks. They’d rather invest in green energy and unicorns
Just wondering why would a fund drop 40m shares at this price. Do they have an inkling that nothing is happening here otherwise the fund manager will have Hell to pay if a sale comes along at multiples of 7p in the coming months.
Hey Fort, I reckon it may have been the other way round.
So, in ( say ) October 2023, the Fund makes an internal management decision to sell out by end of February.
Leaky. leaky.
'Friends and Associates' of the fund employees ( insiders ) plot to manipulate the price down during the subsequent ( say )
4 months, knowing that they can grab the shares at a depressed price, then if there was more positive sentiment.
Out come the knockers etc. and here we are.
Overhang sold at eventual price. Who knows if they have made a significant difference, but it really cost them nothing but a bit of their time, and they probably also had a laff and felt like Gordon Gekko.
If the price now recovers, and the knocking crew magically disappear, job done, and there's your explanation.
They may even appear on the BB, as if by magic, suddenly in love with the SOLG !!
