Hi Asimo, thanks for getting back matey. I guess we'll find out before too long. It would be nice to see something down in black and white (presentation). If Quady is correct with his tax theory from a sale, well, now we Know why NM wants to go all the way!
Exciting!
Hi Copperpot.
Ingo mentioned this in his last presentation as well.
I think talks about a disused railway line running through the site down to San Lorenzo.
Also something about an easement and using a pipeline to transport stuff. I thought he said it was better environmentally, but I'm not sure I heard that right.
Cheers.
GLALTH more exiting news again today!
For me, this is the most exciting near-term trigger. If we get a good core back from Porvenir, we are off to the races. BHP will have to go back to boardroom for approval to double the size of their bid for SOLG from £1 to £2 :)
SavShare7, great read and very insightful, thanks once again.
Good luck mate.
Agreed Miagi365 Porvenir, does seem to tick all the boxes, I wonder how soon we can get some cores drilled and sent off for analysis. All the best.
Quady, yes I noticed what you're referring to there (Aguinaga and the high soil copper/zinc ratio, didn't look so very hot on the other two metrics though: "high soil molybdenum, low soil manganese").
However, it's not the geophysics that is getting NM all hot and bothered about those 13 other prospects - it is the soil sampling and rock saw channel samples - physical proof of extensive, high grade copper and gold at surface. Porvenir is the really exciting one in that respect, way better than the surface expression of Alpala.
No worries mate, don't often post on here anymore but always happy to share any bits and pieces if of value when I pop in to see how things are going :)
Hi SavShare7, thanks for the info buddy. I'm going to have a good read of that after my dinner.
Surely the big guns will want to be in these discussions and not going to allow Nick to get this far?
Copperpot the discussions with the government are a standard part of the process to sort the final financial parameters of the project required for the DFS. These agreed terms around taxation etc form the basis of the Exploitation agreement required before development can begin (I believe). Most of the taxes laid out in the Mining bill are on a scale, and apply to things like money paid to workers, land owners, the local government, federal government royalties etc... Below is a link to the press release Lundin did when their EA was signed which outlines the importance of it and therefore the complexities and need to start discussions with the government early on with these kinds of things... Hope it's helpful and everyone is staying well :)

Good evening Jerry, I think the reason is they look good on the induction polarisation surveys, did anyone notice Aguignana ( not spelt correctly ) On the IP survey, the copper element, looked about 5 times the size of Alpala, but not as much gold. I will be looking forward to the drill holes.
Jerryspaniel, maybe a deal has been struck between the government and Solgold. Maybe, just maybe the government promised Solgold prime acreage in the promise that Solgold takes any finds through to production. I ask myself the question........why have Solg got prime acreage, and so much of It? Why haven't the big boys got it?
Some more NM bashing. Meanwhile the marvelous over priced GGP can do no wrong.
If they really thought that 13 prospects were better than Alpala why oh why don’t they put ensa up for sale, make a couple of billion and have a bucket of money to create these 13 Alpala +. Either cos it’s not true or cos NM is so stubborn he puts his ego above building a share price.
He will lose this company in next 6 months imho which will give him plenty of retirement Time to rue his appalling decisions.
Ingo mentioned the old railroad track that runs past Alpala to the port. I couldn't hear what he was saying, could somebody please report what he said about it. TIA.
GLA.
Yeah same here Quady, nothing new really. The only thing that I picked up on was Ingo said that in the second half of this year (now) Solgold would be spending a lot of time round the table with the government. I can't remember his words exactly but he seemed to allude to the idea there would be a lot of talking!!!!
GLA.
We came second, we didn't get any of the judges votes, if we had got one vote out of five, we would have won. Nothing to report no new info.
2nd joke !!!
6 min technical now, we are in the final three.
Copperpot ,thanks my friend
Easy , £1.32 my friend ....
Six companies giving a 2 minute presentation. Three get voted through to next round and 3 drop out. Hugo never set the world alight but was okay.
Cookie nothing new in Hugo's 2 minute pitch. I get the feeling it's just going to be same old, same old.
Cookie, Hugo on now mate 2 minute pitch
