Hi addicknt, as I said to Jerry, I don't think this makes any difference at this stage.
I do think, if we get more results, and share price increases. Then when we require more money, for proving up our other tenements, and the dilution will be minimal. ( but that will be end of next year )
I still think this can be defended, because other parties, will not part with their holdings on the cheap.
But I guess you share that view, and that's something we agree on.
However, everyone is happy this morning, and that's a good thing.
All the best.
A few p on the sp wont put BHP off. They now see (if they hadnt seen it two years ago) that the acreage is uber prospective. This validates the Solgold exploration teams theories and thus makes us more attractive. The sp increase is hardly greater than the value of todays news on Porvenir, of that I think we would all agree. So the under valuation has increased too.
Quady, you are right, this is good news and most certainly enhances our value, but it doesn't improve our 'defence'. As Jerry has suggested, it merely makes us more attractive to a bidder. The "too big to fall" argument is not relevant.
Let's hope so Ship but my hunch is traders will start dumping soon if not already.
Shipright, I am hopeful we will. The volume is up relatively high already and this is very big news. There is a lot at stake now. Once the price settles over 30 p it can jump quickly from there
Agreed Shipright.
It will be good if we close over 30 and have it as the new support
I am happy this morning. As I am known as a cup half empty kind of poster, this is unusual in the extreme. Long may it continue.
Morning Jerry, I think BHP have possibly outplayed by NM. My guess is that they were going to wait him out and hope the share price would slump when no bids were made by the time October 15 came around with no PFS. I expected that BHP would not move quickly after October 15 and leave everyone wondering. It was like a game of chicken. This is not good news for BHP as the value of the tenements collectively is now potentially huge. And every day will now increase the possibility of further big results. Other majors cannot afford to ignore this. We have also broken through the 30 p psychological barrier which is a great thing
Morning Jerry, I don't think what's happening today, makes any difference.
BHP can bid anytime, even in standstill, all they have to do is approach NM and make an offer.
Doesn't look like they have done that.
Anything that adds to the share price, is a plus for all investors, but also adds to the defense.
However watching with interest, as I will wait to see if the traders take profit this afternoon.
But in all, we are all having a good day, whatever your view.
Well apart from TBTT, as sure he has missed the buy in.
Morning Quady. Another question. Do you think these results make it more or less likely BHP will bid.
IMHO it certainly doesnt reduce the liklihood, and as for me that is already very high, so I would say its just increased it a bit.
We may well have Hueca assays on the way possibly 2 holes worth.
Don't worry Jerry, they will get the assays out in time, as BHP won't be bidding.
Its a pity they cant get the assays done before the BHP standstill expires. They need as much info out asap to get this sp much higher. A defence will be a lot easier for NM now, but equally it might be easier for even him to realise that he has a future as an explorer, should BHP make an offer sh cant refuse.
