I am having a dense moment, not sure what to make of this
The Directors require a power from Shareholders to allot equity securities or sell treasury shares for cash otherwise
than to existing Shareholders pro rata to their holdings. Accordingly, Resolution 11 will be proposed as a special
resolution to grant such a power.
"allot equity securities (as defined in section 560 of the Act) of the Company for cash pursuant to the
authorisation conferred by resolution 10(a); and/or
(b) sell ordinary shares (as defined in section 560(1) of the Act) held by the Company as treasury shares
for cash,
in each case, as if section 561 of the Act did not apply to any such allotment or sale, provided that this power
shall be:
(i) limited to the allotment of equity securities for cash and the sale of treasury shares, up to
an aggregate nominal amount of £1,500,553; and
(ii) used only for the purposes of financing (or refinancing, if the authority is to be used within
six months after the original transaction) a transaction which the Directors have determined
to be an acquisition or other capital investment of a kind contemplated by the 2015
Statement of Principles on Disapplying Pre-Emption Rights published by the Pre-Emption
Group (which shall include any capital investment related to expenses incurred in
connection with exploration and evaluation activities which are capitalised on the statement
of financial position), or for any other purposes as the Company in general meeting may at
any time by special resolution determine"

Anybody know why there is a short notification when there hasn’t been any change?
Last week saw Assembly sorted and that bodes well as Perez and his crew now reduced to very little influence. Correa and Noboa pretty much control Assembly now... but clear that Correa want out right rule. He'll have to wait 18months + for second bite at cherry. If Noboa makes an impact over next 18months... correa could be history.
QUITO, Nov 17 (Reuters) - Ecuador's National Assembly chose a conservative as its president on Friday as the new legislative period began, amid a deal between the parties of President-elect Daniel Noboa and ex-President Rafael Correa to form a majority.
Businessman Henry Kronfle, 51, was elected with 128 votes from the legislature's 137 members. Nine abstained.
The legislature was dissolved in May by outgoing President Guillermo Lasso to avoid his own likely impeachment, bringing forward legislative and presidential elections scheduled for 2025.
US Holiday today - lack of liquidity probably indicates that all of the trading around the edges is from US based firms...
Terry still talking to himself as everyone else is on filter
Anyone who wants to buy has already done so.
Yes adikt, there in lays the problem.
At last you've admitted it.
NOBODY WANTS TO BUY.
Take you a while to catch on. But finally
Sorry...last 4 hours...anyhow 8.68 just popped up so maybe somebody got itchy fingers...
Agreed...but theres always some dealing...
Still only 6 trades today...none sine 10.50...and 10,731 traded in the last 2 hours...
Zzzzzzzzzzz......
Anyone who wants to buy has already done so. Anyone who's holding is doing so either in anticipation of what's to come, or they don't want to take their losses.
Heres the irony...I'm also in JAY, which has seen similar SP woes...
MCap only £10m but todays trade value is ten times the value here...thats embarrassing...
Daniel Noboa waking up in Equador… first day of his reign and hopefully the rest of our lives… I give it 24 hours before the sunny uplands are delivered.
I think we are "almostdone"
Interesting qoute from Charles boweski.
The problem with the world today
The intelligent ones are full of doubt
But the stupid ones
are full of confidence.
Who does that resonate with
London Stock Exchange website has just SIX trades in the first 3 hours...
No Autobots!!!
Maybe because its Thanksgiving...
Have the shares been suspended... ;-)
Never seen this before...but nobody's been selling in size since Berry Street...
Average daily volume last 14 days is 2.8 million and I haven't seen any lumpy deals go theough since the UT on Oct 31st
Is it just me, or are others finding the lack of trades and complete apathy in solg baffling.
Usually when the sp is in strife, several hundred posters on this board top up, ( to good an opportunity to turn up. Most say)
I find it strange no ones topping up. Not even rk
Usually when the sp is in the doldrums.
Eloro, shipright, Copperpot, quady, bbg, quady, bubbles and one or two others, report they've just had an email from solg directors or contacts, to reassure us, and tell us everything is going to plan.
if the contacts have dried up, are we to assume solg are in a spot of strife.
I can remember a poster on here 6 months ago. When the sp was circa 30p, posting that the future wasn't certain, and there were still stormy waters ahead.
I seem to think he was piloried by the likes of copperpot, fdjny, padmaster, bbg, all the usual suspects.
I wonder what happened to him.
I'm supprised he's not on here daily reminding his detracters how wrong they were, and how right he was. He must have a smile from ear to ear.
Whatever was his name.
Oh I remember, it was needalife.
Yep …. And they’re not giving anyone any reason to buy either
As this before?
It's almost shocking.
We have had black rock sellin off, then BSC selling. So who else?
Agreed Fort re this price suiting some.
It does render the 100m+ CGP shares way less effective.
Hence Scott’s comments and other speculation re potential offtake deals
