WHAT IS THE INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY?
Case Study: Meteoric Resources (ASX:MEI) – Caldeira Project, Brazil From A$22M To A$480M Market Value
Thanks for your efforts moneymetal, Like Lordchaos said, it also aligns with what was said at the Q&A. I look forward to the results and the reanalysis.
My 50000 buy shown as sell. Again
Thanks, MoneyMetal. This perfectly aligns with what I heard at the shareholder's meeting. It's interesting that he said the bench test was six days in because that's what he told me on Friday. But it's good to hear that things are progressing very well and very quickly, which is great news. Perhaps we will get an early RNS on this for a change. And on that note, where are those Boland Stage 2 re-analysis results!
Thanks moneymetal, was it well attended?
As for finance, they are funded to the end of the year and could look to monetise the gold asset if required, it has been something they appear to be thinking about.. There is good news flow planned and the environmental study is already ongoing as they need 12-18 months of data but by end of year this could be a very different looking company.
Rupert showed a chart of Meteoric Resources (ASX: MEI) which went from A$22M to A$480M as they advanced the Caldeira Deposit in Brazil through acquisition, confirmation of ionic leach REES and metalurgy studies. So Cobra has huge potential ahead especially when it could be producing (hypothetical target) 5000t per annum in a shorter timeframe than all other hard rock deposits and aiming for $50/kg profit. It looks like this is what they would be aiming for with a scoping study but that all makes sense given the scale of the project and testwork to date.
Overall, will keep topping up on this and added another 100k shares this morning as it could be a strong winner this year. DYOR. I am just sharing what I heard with my dodgy memory from the presentation.
They have a 140 sq km area of potential mineralisation backed by geophysics and validated by drilling to date within the much larger licence area. The key requirements are grade, scale and potential for ISR and Rupert is sure they have it all. They could be the lowest cost producer outside of China with 10-15% of the OPEX of a hard rock miner. The beauty of ISR also is that it is quicker to permit especially as the ground water is already a brine and useless for agriculture and it is low Capex.
Farmers love the idea of ISR as they can continue farming around the area with the wells and once the ISR injection and recovery wells are finished the land is returned immediately to agricultural with no landform changes. The subsurface brine already there is of no use to anyone so there are no negatives as long as the brine does not escape to surface which is unlikely and the farmers will be able to get some income from the drill holes on their land. Positive community relations were mentioned as you would expect of a professional company.
I attended the Mello presentation yesterday by Rupert and have to say that I was very impressed, he knows his stuff and the proposed ISR method is a game changer. Rupert believes they could be in the lowest cost quartile globally for a REE producer subject to positive leach tests.
They have a well field installed to progress to field pilot test with bench scale ISR testing underway and they have the experience to deliver this.
They are 6 days into their leaching tests which was planned for 18 days but the initial results look so good that the test is only expected now to last 12 days. They also have local sources of sulphuric acid in the region and the acid consumption is extremely low with rapid recovery in 30 minutes at pH 3-4.
They will have enough rare earth carbonate products by August to supply offtake partners with samples and he plans a scoping study by end of year so they are really progressing this enthusiasm and conviction.
Why is a trade from yesterday only just showing up today?
Well that’s an interesting 37k trade from yesterday….we must be due a bounce up soon. Glad to see we are hovering above the 1p mark. Maybe we will get back to 2p :o!!!
Something must be brewing...decent volume yesterday and more buys today.
Rupert giving a presentation tomorrow at the Mellow event in London, will it be the awakening of the herd for a week of blue...one can dream a bit longer as I am long on this one but it would be good to see more volume and marketing
Boland Re-Assays are imminent now. You might even get some unexpected Uranium hits, too!
Fingers crossed for another blue day.
The blue
I see that Cobra is on the schedule for Mello presentation. Good to see them promoting the Company. Really undervalued and expecting a good rise as the small cap markets improve this year

Yes just come through I saw.
I think if COB can push through to hit their 2p target then it should be a good run afterwards.
The other penny stock that I also feel has potential that others may hold is KAV. I started buying at 0.7p and bought again at 1.3p. May be worth a watch.
Im hoping for the heady days when I bought 10m shares in GGP for 0.20p (and was pretty much the only person in the share chat room) but I dont think that will be repeated.
Good luck to all.
Well showed up as a Buy just a late listing xD
Buy 764,944.0000 £9,999.99
Well I just bought these 25mins ago and they are not showing up yet. So lets see if they show as a sell or a buy.
Mav
Sells than buys, but 8% rise mmmmmm
Just had a catch up on the posts and meeting comments..
Fantastic project with incredible upside for investors...
Might have to find a little more money to invest here before the penny drops ... and the SP reacts accordingly
ATB
Morning, does anyone know the total amount of warrants outstanding and at what price?
Thanks in advance.
Correct inyour post atb
Thank you very much for your posts about Fridays meeting.
Makes us all feel a bit more comfortable with our holdings when you get a balanced view and feedback from fellow shareholders who met with the company.
Really interesting couple of years ahead of us.
Hello Dartfrog, I believe Rupert was saying that there are over 30 REE companies on the asx but only 2 or 3 on the LSE, so they are not in any hurry to dual list. They were also firm in their belief that it would be very easy to raise money for future mining in London. I also agree with everything Lordchaos has said. David and Rupert feel that we're going to look like a very different company towards the end of the year, very confident.
Thanks for taking the time to update us Lord Chaos and also for asking my questions.
Interesting, so all going to plan we should be producing by mid 2026?
Two years is not a very long time but the world we’ll be living in by then I’d imagine will be a lot different to now.
Pretty confident the demand for rare earths will only increase so fingers crossed Cobra manage to pull off their plan.
Thanks again for the feedback.
