Actually post was meant for the PVR board seeing we were having a conversation over there.
Can't answer that one Bronx. There's always a risk when investing in small cap oilers.
Heres hoping Landsdowne BOD have shareholders in mind when doing the capital raise. Just a question if they went into receivership would they lose they Barryroe rights? Not trying to scare anyone just trying to hedge my bets if i were to purchase a few LOGP.
If I understand jimmy24 posts on iii correctly,... it is the seismic resolution, that he saw as the key risk, & now is happy, this risk has been resolved ("particularly as there are so many wells to validate the new seismic against"),...good to see, he has come aboard. BW
LOGP,... keeping Options Open on Funding, until first quarter of 2018;- http://webcasting.brrmedia.co.uk/broadcast/59f35d654785893d8c05c73b (from 8:58 into clip). BW
I notice there has been a bit of fairly upbeat chatter on some of the PVR boards today in the light of a positive response to some newly enhanced seismic.
Special Resolution 6.1 in AGM (11th September 2017) link below, mentions;- rights issue, open offer or other offer of securities in favour of the holders of ordinary shares. In light of the special resolution 6.1, if there is a significant placing, as you suggest, I would expect to see it accompanied, by an Open Offer, which would find my support. Expect a significant placing here for the drill. I have been a LOGP holders off and on since 2010, will look to invest more as 2018 passes by and we know how how the funding will pan out
hereandnow,....Here is the 31st October and 1st November Atlantic Ireland 2017 Presentation link;- Subsurface Considerations in Planing the 48/24-K East Flank Well. http://www.providenceresources.com/sites/default/files/Prospects2Go_BROE_FINAL_for%20website%20-%20small%20file%20size.pdf BW
I see that yesterday's wee RNS was reported in the independent.
Does not compute. Who are Lansdowne Celtic Sea Ltd? LOGP wholly owned subsidiary? If not, why mention Helvick? But the strangest thing is that the last LOGP CPR in 2011 states that PVR and LOGP carried out an asset swap in December 2010 resulting in LOGP acquiring 10% of Helvick. i.ee. LOGP already own 10% of Helvick. Why is that not listed? And who are Marginal Field Development Co? Sounds good mind as Helvick is a small field. there was talk about a floating platform drilling and producing in Helvick which appears to be a safe bet with proven resources
One things for sure the increasing Brent pricing can only make us more attractive
Looks like it is place your bets time. We will get a free carry or a take over offer, and the share price turns out to be a winner, or will it be a rights issue for more shares and the share price goes down.
This report implies that the cost to LOGP is about. $5m: http://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/186465/providence-resources-details-new-barryroe-drill-programme-186465.html
Make that $5million.! Anyone got a link to the presentation, I can't get the website to load.
Our share of costs is circa $4million. We have long standing supportive share holders who will stump up the cash. It is what they have been waiting for years.
Emm. No. Can you?
Can someone explain how the Barryroe drill can go ahead unless LOGP somehow finds the cash to pay its share of the costs?
Perhaps we will get an announcement in the next couple of months re drilling permission for Barry from the minister?
I remain confident.
And only 2 comments since my last dismal attempt at ramping? Or was I deramping? I no longer care. I own 222,222 shares in LOGP and Barryroe being developed would cheer me up.
It's also fairly quiet, on the PVR board ekofisksean,....there is a lot of info on Barryroe, in the (September 21st , 2017) PVR presentation link below;- http://www.providenceresources.com/sites/default/files/PVR%20INVESTOR%20PRESENTATION%20-%20H1%202017%20RESULTS.pdf BARRYROE, NORTH CELTIC SEA BASIN (SEL 1/11) ₋ Farm-out discussions continued, (on page 11 of link above). PVR Cash position, (on page 14 of link above). On page 16 of link above, the following Barryroe info is given;- "BARRYROE, NORTH CELTIC SEA BASIN (SEL 1/11) ₋ Extension to the 1st phase of SEL 1/11 to July 2019 and overall licence extension of 2 years to July 2021 ₋ New 3D seismic uplift provides significantly enhanced visualization of Barryroe reservoir interval ₋ Planning now underway for a well to be drilled in 2H 2018/1H 2019 ₋ EOI issued for drilling rig ₋ Revised well cost estimates for single vertical well of c. US$ 20 million". From page 34 onwards of link above, there is a lot of Barryroe info, (ie: Well costs US$ 20 million (DHC),.. US$ 5 million (side-track),..). BW
where have all the experts disappeared to ??
Even with a placing LOGP still looks a good bet or am I missing something? From 10-bagger to 5-bagger is still 5 bags. And how about a joint takeover offer for PVR and LOGP? Pocket money for a major oil company and there must be millions in previous losses that would make the deal attractive. To be honest, I just want to be out of here with a profit! I used to think my investment in LOGP would eventually buy me a house but now I'm thinking of a camper van. It would still be a decent return.
Sod this. Looks like beaufort going to knobble everyone on aim yet again
