The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
This is the first truly interesting post re Barryroe for years
Did O'R not also say that HSBC had confirmed that the money was undergoing AML checks or is that my imagination. Sir Nigel, I would love to take them to court. Problem is we might win and end up owning the company. What an awful thought!
I'm still intrigued as to what happened to the Chinese money? Was it ever in HSBC's grasp? If so, has it been returned to APEC? If not - where is it? Has any contract term been broken?
The silence points to a very embarrassed TO'R who has screwed up royally. but it would be good as a shareholder to get closure
What a game - the most exciting sporting event I have ever seen. Tension in cricket is more like stress. I knew from half way through the kiwi innings that it was going to be tight. the ups and downs are cataclysmic. I will be in Lords on Friday and Saturday next week - atmosphere should be brilliant.
Ooh and it looks like we will see this money after all
Tragedy. I still laugh at his story about his confirmation that ends "it's a mystery". all the rest is too non-PC to report
btw it's almost like this RNS was designed to depress the SP. So that some of us could make some deserved pennies!
As a LTH, good to see but 2 points:
- if GBP was near a farm out, this type RNS would not be necessary
- this is a sales pitch seeking to attract farm out interest with tales of cheap drills and bullish projections
a bit of a curates egg

Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? Caught in a landslide, no escape from reality Open your eyes, look up to the skies and see I'm just a poor boy, I need no sympathy Because I'm easy come, easy go, little high, little low The Zoroastrian Bard encapsulates my 7 years of holding this "just out of reach" stock. Will 2018 make any difference?
Does not compute. Who are Lansdowne Celtic Sea Ltd? LOGP wholly owned subsidiary? If not, why mention Helvick? But the strangest thing is that the last LOGP CPR in 2011 states that PVR and LOGP carried out an asset swap in December 2010 resulting in LOGP acquiring 10% of Helvick. i.ee. LOGP already own 10% of Helvick. Why is that not listed? And who are Marginal Field Development Co? Sounds good mind as Helvick is a small field. there was talk about a floating platform drilling and producing in Helvick which appears to be a safe bet with proven resources
