Your welcome JH77,..did not realize the LOGP AGM link was down, until you brought it to my attention. BW
Cheers Wraith....Will email Steve Boldy for confirmation anyway.. could be a glitch with my mobile phone so will check on my desktop machine as well. BW
Tune whilst we wait: https://youtu.be/FLZS3jQPnKw ;0) BW
That's even odder, JH77...the date of 11/09/2017 has been left out of my original post of 21/08/2017, below,.....this is what original post of 21/08/2017 reads, " .this year's has been moved forwards, to Monday 11th september 2017,....why I ask myself?" To check, click on my user name "wraith", select 50 cycle, go to page 2, original post is about one third way down. BW
That's odd JH77,...I put the LOGP AGM link, on PVR board 21/08/2017,..the link worked fine when posted (checked it, after I put it on board),...here is my post of 21/08/2017;- "PVRRE: Oilbell21 Aug '17 Oilbell,... agree, even if Drombeg is a Duster, PVR make money on Druid/Drombeg drill. I also believe Barryroe news is close,... I'm also a LOGP shareholder, where the LOGP AGM is late, last year's was on the 20 July 2016,....this year's has been moved forwards, to Monday ,....why I ask myself? From start of drill (guidance given, on time to complete full drill), I have 2 Red Dots marked on my trading calendar, Friday 25th August 2017 being earliest for full drill results & Saturday 9th September 2017 for the latest date for full drill results,... (which is why, I have my Drombeg drill results window, penciled in, as begging 21/08/2017). I also noted, the LOGP AGM Resolutions 5 to 7.4,...with some interest, (LOGP AGM link below). http://www.lansdowneoilandgas.com/portfolios/notice-annual-general-meeting/ " The link shows LOGP AGM as 11th september 2017. BW
With regards to drilling operation on Icemax being discussed by the regular panel.of wanabe experts. GC Trader is the only one with knowledge of Drilling. All the rest should hold on to the Day Job I don't think Exxon or Shell will be giving them a call anytime soon> Good for a Laugh. Ships running all the time with cuttings They are drilling a eight and half inch hole not driving a tunnel .Work it out 2000ft X 8 1/2 ins Capacity ????
Yep. Doesn't work for me. All sorts of weird things going on between logp and pvr.
Anybody else had problems in the last couple of days getting on the Lansdowne company website? I haven't seen an RNS regarding the AGM and I was trying the website to see if anything on there.
Just had a look on NUOG board,.....I seem to remember an RNS with something about 50% (think they start around 10% & can earn up to a further 40%), have not checked. BW
Much of the chatter about Barry roe farm out is on the NUOG board. It's known they have an agreement on Helvick and Dunmore.....this broe connection is new on me. Let's see what unravels!
Still trying to catch up on PVR board (had a lie in today, being Bank Holiday Monday, here in UK), if true, that's the news I have been waiting for,..... been holding a good size Core LOGP shareholding position here, since buying back into LOGP, earlier this year. Was not aware of the Recent, Beaufort Securities updated Buy recommendation for LOGP, you mention,..Cheers JH77. BW
Some guy on the other board posted that Barryroe farm out talks are only two weeks from conclusion. Is this true or is it bulls hit? I don't know me self. Also Beaufort Securities issued an updated buy recommendation on LOGP just before the weekend.
I see....many thanks.
Suzy2. Most rocks are porous, Sandstone/limestone shale. Granite is a solid mass not porous. If when drilling you cut core in porous rock and it contains oil when you bring to surface If you stand portion Of core you will see it bleed. What a D.S.T (flow Test) does. You will flow the well the same as production conditions , And observe .Choke size,Pressure , If pressure Drop/ Pressure build up after shut in period, oil samples Quality of oil. if sulpher/ tar content. Spg Oil Water Content NOTE when people talk about SIDETRACK this is a very complex proscedure It's not like driving a car stick out your indicator and turn left/right
From link below;- On page 9 of below link it indicates;- "Once drilled, the 53/6-A well will be subject to a wireline logging programme. No well test is proposed. Following cessation of drilling operations, the well will be plugged and abandoned." Source: http://www.dccae.gov.ie/documents/Appendix%20C%20Druid%20Drombeg%20Well%20EIA%20Screening.pdf BW
PS I think no flare doesn't necessarily mean no oil.
Give a clue then Efofisksean...some facts on the structure of oil bearing strata would be good, I'd appreciate it certainly: porous rock, for instance, what significance does it have, in a good way, been thinking about it quite a lot.
Some of the comments on PVR drilling rig Icemax ,what they are doing and what they should do, It's like reading Comic's when I was a kid. I would say that 99% of people have no idea what so ever what drilling Oil/Gas wells is all about Or the structure of oil bearing strata.
$13.4 per barrel, that's interesting,...pleased my Core LOGP shareholding, is tucked up, in a couple of ISA's!!! Thanks for posting link highlander1970. https://uk.reuters.com/article/us-total-maersk-idUKKCN1B10IU BW
If LOGP could flog their oil in the ground for even 1 dollar a barrel it would increase the market cap by a factor of X14. Three dollars a barrel would be a phenomenal result. Thirteen dollars a barrel... thats me retired!
https://uk.reuters.com/article/us-total-maersk-idUKKCN1B10IU "Analysts from Raymond James said the value of the deal appeared fair with Total paying $13.4 per barrel of reserves – in line with what Royal Dutch/Shell paid to acquire its rival BG in the biggest oil transaction of the past decade in 2015." I was basing my previous prices on $3 per barrel :-)
One of the P.V.R observers says there was a lot of bubbles around the Icemax and wondered if they had hit Gas ??? If they hit Gas and had a lot of Bubbles Around the Rig they are in DEEP SHI... Time to call in the choppers.
Keep the home fires burning!
JH77 you got in one, NO Flare, No Oil. But if they run diesel cushion they have to burn off diesel, If Oil They will flare for many Hr's
Thanks for that....So if any flaring is observed...then that would be the tell tale sign of hydrocarbons present I guess.
