Completion of first tranche of Share Buyback Programme
On 25 July 2023, Wickes Group Plc ("the Company") announced a £25 million share buyback programme (the "Programme"). The Company is pleased to announce that it has completed the first tranche of the Programme.
Between 28 July 2023 and 30 January 2024, 9,227,433 ordinary shares were repurchased for cancellation at an average price of 135.5p pence per share and a total cost, (excluding associated costs and stamp duty), of £12.5 million. This represents approximately 3.5 per cent. of the issued share capital when the buyback programme commenced.
Further tranches of the Programme will be announced following the current close period which will end with the release of the Company's Full Year results in March 2024.
