ITIS Holdings PLC20 July 2005 Wednesday July 20th 2005 NEW CONTRACT FOR RDS-TMC ON NAVIFLASH NAVIGATION DEVICE ITIS Holdings plc (ITIS) today announces that it has signed a three yearcontract with German based Naviflash GmbH to incorporate its real time trafficdata onto the Naviflash personal navigation system Naviflash uses the latest navigation database to produce exceptionally fast andprecise route calculations via a large high resolution display. The device whichis quick and easy to install, was successfully launched in Germany in October2004 and retails in the UK for £499 including UK and Ireland maps and majorroutes in 22 countries. Naviflash was recently awarded the prestigious Plus Xaward for its intuitive user guidance and built in TMC receiver. Naviflash is the first portable navigation device in the UK capable of receivingRDS TMC traffic data via FM radio broadcasts and the system will use FloatingVehicle Data from ITIS to help users bypass delays as it automaticallyrecalculates the best routes based on the latest traffic conditions.
