ITIS Holdings PLC05 September 2005 Monday 5th September 2005 Missouri Department Of Transportation commences exclusive negotiations with ITISto deploy CFVDTM statewide ITIS Holdings plc ("ITIS") is pleased to announce that following a competitiveand extensive tendering process, it has been invited by the Missouri Departmentof Transportation ("MoDOT") to enter into contract negotiations on an exclusivebasis to deploy its Cellular Floating Vehicle Data (CFVDTM) technologythroughout the State of Missouri. The contract will include the cities of StLouis and Kansas City and cover at least 5,400 miles of inter-urban and urbanroadway. By comparison, our deployment in Baltimore covers around 1000 miles. ITIS bid for this contract with its US partner Delcan-NET who, in accordancewith our agreement, will be the lead contractor in this strategically importantmulti-year deal. Competition for this tender came from leading transportationconsultancies and other providers of cellular traffic probe technologies. Weanticipate that the CFVDTM system will be deployed within six months of thecontract being awarded. At that time the data will be integrated immediatelywith the relevant Traffic Management Centers in the state. This is the first major competitive tender issued by a state for such a trafficsystem and we believe that our success will encourage other states to lookfavourably at the ITIS and Delcan-NET offering. Once the formal contract has been signed ITIS will issue a further announcementoutlining the financial and terms details.
