H&T Group PLC11 June 2007 H&T Group plc Results of EGM H&T Group plc ("H&T Group") trades under the H&T Pawnbrokers and Get>Go brandsand is the UK's leading pawnbroking business by size of pledge book. On 16 May 2007, H&T Group announced details of the proposed Placing of 3,600,000new Ordinary Shares at 204 pence per share, to raise approximately £7 millionnet of expenses. The Board of H&T Group is pleased to announce that, at the Extraordinary GeneralMeeting held earlier today, the Resolutions which were set out in the Notice ofExtraordinary General Meeting included in the circular to shareholders inrelation to the Placing dated 16 May 2007 (the "Circular") were duly passed. Application has been made for the Placing Shares to be admitted to trading onAIM and it is expected that Admission will become effective and that dealings inthe Placing Shares will commence at 8 a.m. on 12 June 2007. The net proceeds of the Placing will be used to finance the expansion of theGroup's store estate, in particular to fund acquisitions.
