Issue of Equity & Total Voting Rights
Following the exercise of options by an ex-employee EpiStem has issued and allotted 9,200 new Ordinary Shares of 1.5p each in the Company (the "New Ordinary Shares"). Application has been made for the New Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission"). Admission is expected to occur on 16 October 2008. The New Ordinary Shares will rank equally with the existing Ordinary Shares of the Company.
The total number of Ordinary Shares of 1.5p each of the Company in issue as at the date of this notice is 7,201,083. There are no Ordinary Shares held in treasury and therefore the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in the Company is 7,201,083.
The above figure of 7,201,083 Ordinary Shares may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
