MelodyVR launches iOS/Android app to the public
EVR Holdings plc (AIM:EVRH), the leading creator of virtual reality entertainment content and operator of the MelodyVR platform, is pleased to announce that further to its announcement of 19 June 2019 it has released its mobile application to the general public, following a successful closed beta period. The updated MelodyVR application is now available to download on iOS and Android devices.
This development will enable music fans in all existing MelodyVR territories, including The United States and The United Kingdom, to access and enjoy the full MelodyVR experience without the need for a dedicated VR device.
Two options are available for consuming content, either via full 360 degree video with unique jump-spot technology, or in 'VR mode' which delivers a fully immersive VR experience to fans if combined with a MelodyVR viewer. Fans will now be able to consume, purchase and enjoy recorded and live content directly from their smartphones will all of the functionality of the MelodyVR platform.
The first live broadcast is to take place this coming weekend as MelodyVR is the exclusive streaming and VR partner for Wireless 2019. Mobile app users will be able to instantly join the Sold-Out Festival live in VR on their smartphones between 5 July 2019 and 7 July 2019. The festival features a number of global artists such as Cardi B, Travis Scott, A$AP Rocky, Stefflon Don and Migos.
