NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTIONS OF DIRECTORS, PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY ("PDMR") OR CONNECTED PERSONS

The notifications below are all in accordance with DTR 3.1.4 R(1)(a) and DTR 3.1.4 R(1)(b).

On 5 April 2016, Grants of Options were made through the Drax Group plc Sharesave Plan (the "Plan"). The options are in respect of ordinary shares of 11 16/29 pence each in the share capital of Drax Group plc of which there were 406,683,099 shares in issue at the time of the grants.

The interests of the under-noted directors and PDMRs have changed following each one being granted an option under the Plan.

The grants were made at nil consideration.

On 31 March 2016, the PDMR detailed below ceased to have an interest in share options which lapsed upon the termination of a savings contract held under the Plan. Details are also provided of the option price and the period during which the options would have become exercisable had they not lapsed.
