Group strengthens its Board with key Executive appointments

Progressive Digital Media, the global business information company, is delighted to announce the appointment to its Board of Directors (the "Board"), of Mark Meek as Chief Executive Officer and Stephen Bradley as Finance Director, with effect from 1 August 2011.

Mark Meek, aged 49 years, was CEO of Datamonitor plc from 2008, having joined the company in February 1999 as commercial director of the healthcare division. During his time at Datamonitor, Mark worked closely with the company's founder Mike Danson (also Chairman of Progressive Digital Media), helping to grow the company from a market capitalisation of under £100 million in 1999 to over £500 million in 2007, when the company was sold to Informa PLC.

Stephen Bradley, aged 40 years, also joins Progressive Digital Media from Datamonitor, which he joined in January 2005, before becoming Group Finance Director in July 2007 following the acquisition of Datamonitor by Informa Plc.

As part of these changes, Simon Pyper, the Group's current Chief Executive will remain on the Board as Managing Director and will continue to work closely with Mike Danson, Chairman of Progressive Digital Media. Simon's new Board position will enable him to focus on a number of key areas including external relations, acquisitions and Group wide projects. Rob Marcus, currently Finance Director has resigned from the Board and will be leaving the Group, but has agreed to remain in situ until August 2011 in order to facilitate a smooth transition of responsibilities to his successor.
