Appointment of non-executive director
Progressive Digital Media Group plc ("PDM") is pleased to announce that Bernard Cragg will be joining the board of PDM as a non-executive director with immediate effect.
Bernard Anthony Cragg, aged 54, currently sits on the Board of Mothercare Plc, Workspace Plc and Astro All Asia Networks Plc.
He qualified with Price Waterhouse as a chartered accountant in 1979 and joined Carlton Communications Plc in 1985 as Group Financial Controller. He became Chief Financial Officer and Finance Director in June 1987 and was a key part of the team which transitioned the company from a small entrepreneurial firm into a major television company.
Since leaving Carlton in December 2001 he has been appointed to the board of several other public companies, including Datamonitor Plc in February 2003. During his time there he was an integral part of the executive team which oversaw the rapid growth of the business and its eventual successful sale in 2007.
