Albemarle & Bond Holdings PLC24 January 2008 ALBEMARLE & BOND HOLDINGS PLC "the Company" Exercise of Option by an Employee The Company announces that it received from an employee on 23 January 2008 aletter of exercise of options over 4,000 Ordinary shares of 4p each at apurchase price of 107.5p per share in the Approved Executive Share OptionScheme. Application has been made for 4,000 new Ordinary 4p shares to be admitted tolisting pursuant to the exercise of share options announced above. It isexpected that dealings will commence in the new Ordinary shares on 30 January2008. As a result of the application for listing, the issued share capital of theCompany will be increased from 54,664,391 Ordinary shares of 4p each to54,668,391 Ordinary shares of 4p each.
